my latest build was a pt case with rehaut taken back on the Lathe, I redrilled the crappy positioned lug holes and laser welded the case for better accuracy. Sure this isn't easily accessible for most, but I didn't want to spend $1k on a average caseset either tbh the pt case is ok and fits ETA well or clone np.

i used a phong bezel assembly and a gen 116 plexi but a Tonnywatches insert all with minor fitment issues.

Gen crown and tube fit with no retap also.

 

i also did a build with a cartel gmt case and shaved off the cg's which worked out well and also fit plexi and bezel no problems... plus the gmt movement is ready to go !

Ah the Spitfire secs at 6,well to my knowledge still can be a problem there is graphite mod which helps. As far as bracelet others who bought it may know I don't but looking it over and the fact the dealer does not say it maybe not. Usually if they have a special feature like that they put it in, good for biz and they ain't stupid.

Save a few bucks get this when sales reopen, good quality watches from this company.

Lately, I've heard from my Polish friends that Polish jewellery producer Apart took over Albert Riele brand from Switzerland and now they sell Albert Riele watches in Poland advertising they are Swiss made.

Do any of you consumers know when the goods can be called Swiss made?
It's a crucial thing to distinguish between the company's marketing and advertising practise and the legal requirements it has to comply with in order to produce real Swiss made goods.

Swissness  - this new legal basis meets the concerns of consumers around the world, who are prepared to pay more for products marked Swiss made but expect in return, quite rightly, that the major part of such products should be manufactured in Switzerland.

Consumers are usually not aware of the marketing techniques used to attract them. When you hear: impeccable quality Swiss made watch sold by a Polish company, for some it may seem a good bargain and a piece of Swiss luxury. Others first like to check before they buy something valuable if it is really worth the money and whether the slogan "Swiss made" reflects the true production process and guarantees the true Swiss origin of a watch.

According to the law, the goods can be marked Swiss made if the Swiss share in costs of manufacture is at least 60%, and the company's registered office or at least a person's responsible for the company's activity must be in Switzerland.

More worryingly for watch lovers and consumers, Albert Riele brand, unlike Blancpain, Omega, Tissot or Rolex, does not belong to the Federation of the Swiss watch industry:

To echo pcardoza relax a bit and just so everybody knows NO they aren't going to switch a bezel insert for you (you guys who have been around know this, nobody told him not to bother to ask..................) , they get the entire watch from factory all done they have no stock of parts. This looks like a good one all in all FYI, keep your expectations realistic how much is this and how much is the gen....................... Send it out for the plat. mod on numbers once you get it if that's all you have wrong.

A lot of factories in China who knows maker and if you get a good one they are work horses. The fly in the ointment is the sweep on 21j is a dead give away as 28000 on the gen if it does not bother you do not worry about it.
