  1. my suggestion, dump that fiddy and get a better looking one. that dial is horrible and so is that buckle. the crown is tooooooo thin. wrong movement too. the only good thing is the case back, and box. my 2 cents.
  2. i think for a high one you should put a recessed cannon pin on the genuine, just for shits and giggles.
  3. well, the lume is awesome, no problems there. the two things that [censored] me off are first, the swiss made sitting way too close to the six, and the antishock spring is the wrong one. it seems that most of the 111H out there have the novodiac antishock and not the incabloc (thanks to vaccum for clearing that up). both items are made by incabloc ( www.incabloc.ch ) but the standard is the more accurate. pietro
  4. Hey gang. I just recieved this PAM111H today. It is my fourth Panerai ordered, and the second I still own. I am very happy with it, and to be honest think its much nicer looking than my fiddy. I purchased it from a non forum dealer, and if anyone is interested, pm me and I can pass on the info, but I don't think its fair to put the name of dealer on here. The watch shipped to me from China to Ontario Canada in five days. Let me know what you think of it. It has the Swiss ETA movement with swan neck. Pietro
  5. Hey, I recieved a PAM 111H today, and while I love it, I am used to the satin finish. Does anyone know of an easy way to change the finish of the case? Thanks, Pietro.
  6. HA!! Good job wheaton. But you win because you live in the Bahamas. I have to dig through 15" of snow that got shat on us last night before I scrape the [censored] off the window and take the picture. On the upside, the Scion looks nice, but if you ever need road recovery let me know, I'll be able to pull you out. Later guys...I'll try to get the pic up today. Pietro
  7. stuck it on the outside. two probems with sticking on the inside... 1. it would be backwards to the rest of the world, but ok in your rear view mirror, and 2. if you stuck it on the inside, the little metal heating wires that melt ice would damage the vinyl. it is dark out now, but will take a picture tomorrow and post it. Pietro
  8. I actually bought that item and it arrived in a week from the USA to Canada, and I put it on the back window of my Land Rover Discovery and it looks [censored]ing awesome. That silver on the tinted window looks awesome. If you want I will take a picture of it and post it. Pietro
  9. WTF?? Correct me if I am wrong, but did someone actually pay over a grand for that piece of [censored]?? Did anyone read the answer to the question, "sadly I don't think I will find the paperwork and box..." Wow, if people are really that stupid on ebay I have a couple of magic beans I would like to sell. Maybe I should list a watch or two for a high one. Unbelievable.
  10. As a newbie myself, all I can say is that it is a damn shame that someone as informative as V has been kicked in the balls by a bad seed. I had posted a question in the Panerai forum that he was the first to answer, and to be quite frank, I was happy that he was the one that did so. It is unfortunate that so many people need to be spoon fed by the best of the best, I see it all the time on a FTA forum I go to and it licks. Later...
  11. i am in canada, eh!
  12. Hey, I am considering ordering two watches from prescious time, has anyone had any experiences with them. I know they are a dealer on the forum so obviously good. Do they ship from the UK and do they provide a tracking number? Later
  13. Help This may sound stupid, but the asian lemania venus movment, when i wind it, is it towards north like a regular eta movement, or towards south?? it seems to click or make that ratchet sound the opposite winding way than my swiss movement in my fiddy? when i wind it the "right" way it just turns, however the gears turn when i wind it the "right" way. Does this make sense? Help
  14. Hey all... I just bought a Fiddy, which I love very much. I was emailing back and forth with the dealer I bought it from and he said that he and some other dealers have been having the occasional problem with the crystals exploding on that model. Now, I know I am a newbie, but I kind of figure that more than one dealer buys from the same factory somewhere in China. My Fiddy, is superlumed, and has the high cannon pin, and swan neck regulator. I know it is a better quality rep amoung reps. I was told it was a genuine crystal, and did the water test on it and it did bead. So, tell me, how often do these break/explode? Is it something I should worry about? My dealer offers a six month warranty, and if it happens in this first half year I know he will fix it, and after that I am sure he would repair it for me, but should I be afraid to wear it? Thanks guys... Pete
  15. Im fairly new here, but wouldn't the dealer have some sort of repair policy. The dealer I bought my 253 from offers ninty days to fix or replace it and will even pay the shipping both ways.
