I finally managed to get in touch with him yesterday and ordered him a couple of vintage pearls
-
For info, I have emailed him a couple of times already and no reply yet.

To complement this review, I recently got a 1680 case.
Crown position is spot on. one must trim the inside of the crown guards as there is not enough room depending on the crown you want to have. Gen tropic is a little loose but with a gen/clarks bezel that is ok.
Lug holes must be re-drilled and there is no bevelled edges for the lugs.

Thanks for replying,
I forgot to mention I bought the whole assembly (retaining ring, washer, insert, bezel)
Crystal is also from Clarks.
Weird.
I assume I will to trim something, I just to figure out, what !

Hello guys,
Unfortunately I managed to jam the keyless of my y3135. I have found nothing on how to mend it.
Any thoughts? Is the keyless works similar to the gen mvt?
(I am confident with eta's keyless works' but I am in an unknown area with the y3135)
Thanks,

Hello,
I am talking about the way to proceed to make sharp bevels on lugs. I assume one has to use a dremel in order to make them straight.
Thanks for helping

Hello,
I have searched extensively but have not managed to find a clear topic related to 'how to make lug bevel'.
Does anybody have a link or a video to explain how to proceed?
Thanks.

Hello,
I have a problem with my eta 2846.
Occasionnally the oscillating weight spins while one turns the crown. At this time, turning the crown is more difficult. After a couple of turns, the oscillating weight stops and turning the crown is really smooth.
Any idea ?
Thks

Bienvenue!

It should be interesting to find out more about his recent work in order to figure out what that guy is capable of.
-
The TC case doesn't have lug holes though.
-
Up!
I was wondering whether I could use the case for a 1680 conversion.
-
On HR the crown position seems to be spot on.
