  1. I have my doubts for the Sean retaining ring on the gen bezel as well, I may go aftermarket (possibly clark, WSO some other brand). Anyone had success with an aftermarket retaining ring and a gen bezel?
  2. Ill give it a shot on the Sean when it arrives this week interesting you say its too small as someone else said the Sean ring is too big! Hey BTW interested in selling me that dial chieftang PM me.
  3. All good, im going to attempt to use a Sean retaining ring with my gen bezel, failing that I will use a gen retaining ring and an aftermarket tension spring from WSO or clarks
  4. From what ive read a gen bezel will not fit a TC retaining ring. Im yet to find any substantial evidence to say a gen bezel will not fit a Sean retaining ring
  5. I agree, the bezel is such a distinguishing feature, just the colour and the teeth mmmm! I bought a gen bezel because of that.
  6. BTW Fidhle007 you have a PM from me
  7. Ill check it out as well, Sean case should be here sometime this week Z serial is the perfect mix of modern but non ceramic sub, if that makes sense lol
  8. The Y also has the flat 4 bezel too, from what I just saw. Im not overly concerned with the serial just the look of the case Is it true there were early M serials without the rehaut engraving? Im planning: - Sean case - Modern bezel (non flat 4) - Modern crown - Modern MK3 dial - TC v3 93250 So far everything is right for a Z serial, the only thing im not sure about is the case
  9. I would build an early M without the rehaut but I think thats practically a Z anyway! I did read some early M serials had no rehaut, no lug holes, MKIII dial and modern crown.
  10. I have a TC and a Sean on its way if you need a comparison on anything let me know. I was going to try and build a Z serial with the Sean case I have coming. If there much difference in the case from a Y to a Z?
  11. Cool thanks Still on the hunt for a dial, if anyone has one let me know, im after the modern style with the newest spacing for oyster perpetual date
  12. .15!! I dont have a 3035 ive got a 3135. Is there any difference in the caseback size of the TC vs Sean?
  13. Can you see the laser etched coronet at the 6:00 mark?
  14. Will do, im actually impressed with the TC especially when youve been staring at gigantic pictures of it you begin to really appreciate how very small all the parts are!!
  15. Received the TC sub today, it is a great watch Sean is on its way too...
  16. Hey guys, any chance we could get a link to the PDF again? Thanks
  17. Exactly what I wanted to hear! Ill keep you all posted on where im at with it, cant wait to get the Sean case
  18. I will have a Sean bezel for sale soon as it arrives. Also what's the Sean tube like, will it fit a gen crown perfectly or is it worth getting an aftermarket or gen one?
  19. Hey guys thanks for the info Current plan is to use the TC or Sean crown tube with a Gen 703 modern style crown, wasn't planning on a genuine crown tube. I've got a genuine stainless steel bezel and I plan to sell the Sean one Thanks Dan
  20. I have the same sub I bought mine in Thailand, has the same problems!
  21. I will, fingers crossed its only good news ive come so far now lol
  22. Ive just bought a TC and Sean case, ive got a gen 3135, gen hands, bezel, bezel insert, gen crystal. It has been a very interesting journey... If I had posted this on RWI all hell would have broken loose lol...
