Hey guys thanks for the comments ill get some pictures up soon! As for the case/tube situation, its currently got the Sean tube on it with a gen crown but there is an ugly 1mm gap between the crown and the tube when its screwed down. @rsh could you please give me some more details on what needs to be done? Im assuming that the Sean tube is smaller than the gen tube? Ive had so many people tell me that a gen tube fits and lacking watch smith skills im frustratedly powerless! No one in Melbourne wants to touch it because of the case, found one guy, he did a decent job but butchered the threads on my Sean tube... As for selling it, it was a project of mine and ive become attached! I have considered parting it out, one day I will.

Hey all, Quick question, has anyone had trouble fitting a genuine 703 tube to a Sean case? Got my watch back the other day from assembly, watch smith did an alright job... He told me he couldnt fit the genuine tube and near destroyed the threads on my Sean tube grrr... Also he couldnt find the click spring in the box I gave him so the bezel wouldnt rotate, he attempted to blame the case! He could just be incompetent... Anyway, looking to fit the gen tube sometime next week, just wanting to know if anyone has had any issues or has needed to modify a genuine tube? Quick overview: - Sean case - Gen bezel assembly and insert - Thanks to correcttime for the Retainer, w.genzo for the gen insert - Gen 93250 and clasp - Gen crystal and gasket - thanks to LondonGeorge - Gen 3135 - Gen hands - Gen crown and Sean tube for the minute - Gen MK3 16610 "Swiss made" dial Pics to come eventually!

Awesome I need a gen tube installed but being in Australia its proving difficult! My question is if there is no click spring and just a tension spring will the bezel not rotate? This watch smith tried to tell me the bezel wouldnt rotate because of the case!! Its an all gen bezel assembly! loll
-
Thats what I though :s haha but hes messed up the threads on the tube really well... He also told me he "took the tension spring out to see if it would rotate" This was while he lost my click spring that I found on his counter when I went to pick it up!! Im guessing that if you put the tension spring in without the click spring it just lies flat and the bezel wont rotate?

Could there be variations in the case or tube? Tube was a brand new Rolex sealed 703 tube??
-
When I got it back from being assembled the tension spring was missing! Watch smith either purposefully left it out or was incompetent... Also chewed up the threads on my Sean tube and told me my genuine tube didnt fit!! Has anyone else had a gen tube fitment to a Sean case issues?
-
Bezel sorted missing the tension spring... grrr!

Also did you have an issue with your bezel turning?? Mine stuck and wont turn grrrr

Guys can we confirm that a genuine tube fits the Sean case?? Just got my watch back from assembly and the watch smith told me that the tube wouldnt fit?? I have a feeling that he tried to get it out, couldnt and gave up! Also my bezel wouldnt turn? Anyone else have this problem?
-
Hey iRolexU did you use a genuine tube?? I just got my watch back from being assembled and regulated and told my genuine tube did fit??? Although I have a sneaking suspicion that the watch smith couldnt get the tube out and gave up!!??

Might be a better candidate for an ETA movement with a spacing ring, anyway its going in the for sale section
-
My friend bought me this case back from China. Im using a Sean case for my build its better than the TC
-
Sell them and buy a gen! haha
-
Good point, it fits ETA movements with retaining rings etc I guess?? The TC takes a gen 3135 and you can put a ETA in it so I guess this could fit those as well I just realised!
-
As soon as I could feel it wasnt going to come off I stopped! haha Anyway was told it would fit a gen/clone 3135 and the sticker on the bracelet was "3135". As for the crystal height I actually popped it out so I may need to press it back in?? Not sure but anyway, If the Sean had lugs like this the quest would be over... This would make for a great daily beater for someone to put their yuki 3135 in. Im going to make a for sale thread soon.
-
Im not willing to pull it off, its going in the for sale section. Its a shame because the lugs are so crisp and overall its actually a nice case for a Asian/yuki 3135 or a gen Still didnt get a name loll
-
I actually tried to get it off but it wouldn't budge!
-
The serial number might be crap but this case actually isn't too bad, its got nice crisp lugs and the lug width is better than a Sean so it fits a Gen 93250 perfectly. This one is for a 3135, actual quality (design aside) is decent. Not willing to take apart the bezel for now.
-
Serial no. is: D320840 a google search came up with some pics and people selling them but no name. It does have the correct 16610T though! Not sure about the bezel construction not really willing to take it apart right away
-
Anyone seen this case before? Had a friend of mine bring it back from China, he says it fits a gen 3135 Anyway first impression is that the crown guards are slightly thick and the crown position is too low. It does have better lugs than the Sean though! Yet to see if it will fit gen parts but my friend told me it would
