not to be off topic, but...
why arent the old (non-rivetted) (9315) rolled bracelets rep'd? or should i say, not rep'd yet?
i have trying to find one 9315 RLX or TUDOR bracelet for some time... and they go for $500+ on the bay! i found a broken one on there twice... and also found a tudor 9315 that was perfect, but went for sooooo much...
how we can talk the rep makers into making these available? would be a great option for MBW/WM versions...
EDIT: i started a new topic regarding this post of mine: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=3771
maybe, i am being to critical... maybe my old age is catching up to me... you know, being born in '78... these eyes dont last forever...
(cant wait for you oldies to comment on that one!)
Nanuq: i thought mine was the only one that said '19'... thank god im not the only one! im hoping for '20' tomorrow...
yeah, i have seen that... but there are times when i look down at the time and i dont even notice the two lines of red font... and when i look at this images online... they look so bright and vibrant...
here is a good example of bright and vibrant:
Also, a little off topic, but... I think the Vintage Models should start coming with a better Vintagey Font style... as in the RLX font above...
Hey guys!
I was wondering if the red color used the reps is darker than on the gens?
I look @ DRSD.com and the RED fonts dials are so much brighter than the reps!
The reason i even ask, is i am thinking of taking my dial to Everest Watchworks to get the red touched up to a brighter red... might anyone know if its remotely close to gen?!?!
am i just being too critical or am i look at good photgraphy?
another one... but this one looked legit!!!
not to mention the guarantee from the seller...
unfortunately, no caseback or bezel... but, gen!

too bad the bezel wasn't thick! but overall one of my fav's...
Still wainting for Maria to make a modern SD with correct thick case, deep caseback, correct bezel, and work'd out flaws...
Ok, so basically, reworking the entire damn thing!!! But, I would REALLY love to see a 16660!!!

hey all!
Does anyone know what size drill bit to use to drill the holes on a vintage SD or Sub to fit gen springbars?
I went to all the hadrware stores in my area and the smallest they have is 1/16th (1.59mm), which looks a little big to me... Anyone got the right size?!?!
Thanks!
PP
Hey Ubi!
How did you repair the scratches... i got a dial with the same scratches on it... Is that a common issue with MBW's? i have had two that have come to me with small scratches on the dial... i dont really care... just adds to vintage look... but i would like to fix one of them...
again, should be sparkly greyish beige... (ie. more grey than beige) it should almost match the bezel insert color...
one of my co-workers has the same rep and another co-worker has gen so i see it all day... the rolesium rep dial is not as grey as the gen! more of a creamy color...
i figured REP! But according to the specs of SRSD... this what it look like...
Sub case + Sub Bezel + HEL Valve + Dome Crystal... But, this is clearly not authentic!!!!!!!
OMG its @ $711!!!! People must be oblivious... I feel really bad for the high bidder...

This thing is going for pretty penny!!! screams REP to me!!!
What do you guys think?
If my memory is correct, this would actually be a SRSD model?!?!
meaning, Sub case with SD hel-valve...
