Im my opinion, yes. I have a Milgauss rep that exceeds my Seiko Diver in every department. Looks, feel and movement (its a swiss eta 2836). I cant speak about the 'lower end' reps in the sub $100 catagory as I myself will only buy high quality reps with a swiss movement or serviced asain movement, but every rep I own is very good quality.

Yep its gen spec, if buy that you mean in three parts as the gen.

Hi guys, I just picked up one of andrews 1665's. Its brilliant, better than expected. I have got a yuki dial, gen crown/tube and a clarks crystal ready to install. One thing that is a dissapointment is the caseback, very poor engraving thats nowhere near deep enough, I was wondering what my options were? I have seen some of the MBW casebacks that look brilliant, also Yuki has one for $200 that looks much better than mine. Has anyone got any other solutions? Is it possible to have the original caseback better engraved? If so who could do that? Thanks in advance,

Hi Guys, New to this game so please be patient! I have a trusty time 1665 that I what to mod, firstly I would like to change the crown. I have read the tutorials re shaving the crown guards which im going to do. However I cant find tips on removing the tube and replacing it. Im thinking about getting a gen tube so firstly will it fit the case? Do I need to modify it in anyway? Also whats the best way to remove the old tube? Thanks!

I got a response from Yuki and they confirmed the dial is interchangeable.

After lots of deliberating, I have placed an order with Andrew for a 1665. The movement is a swiss eta 2836. I want to change the dial and hands to a Yuki dial - http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/7518423/9554165.htm He says the dial is made for an eta 2824, will it fit the 2836? What about the hands. From what I can gather they are the same, but Im concerned about the dial feet and the hand fitment. Thanks,!

Hi guys, I have decided on a 5512/13. I have bought a gen 5512 dial and wondered which rep case would take the gen dial? I know I will have to remove the dial feet but I dont mind doing that. I have read that josh's 5512 case is good but I really want this gen dial to work. If its not possible without modification can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello everyone, I fairly new here and a recent convert to the world of reps. I have to say this place has some of the most knowledgable people I have read on any fora. I'm just about to get one of trusty's 5513's - ROLSUB067 It says on the description that all parts are interchangeable with gen parts, my question is does this include the hands? I'm upgrading to the Swiss eta 2836 movement. The reason I ask is that I have the chance to buy a gen dial and hand set for bargain price. Thanks for your help in advance, James
