Indeed a nice vintage watch. Reminds me about a vintage Longines pulsometer, but of-course there are manny with more or less the same look & feel.
-
What are the dimensions of this watch? Looks like a big boy!
Width: 48.00 mm x Length: 62.70 mm x Height: 14.60mm
-
Or,... how small is your wrist!?
Here another model with the same dimensions:
Width: 48.00 mm x Length: 62.70 mm x Height: 14.60mm

I think maybe it is best to first really discover what you want. As I see many models coming by and they are all pretty different. About the gen part, if you can spend it go for a gen!
btw: I almost never like Breitling except the vintage models, but the Transocean and the superocean look great.
Happy hunting! :-)

Very nice watch! I hadn't heard of Junghan previously but I like what I see!
Shame on you! ;-)
Junghans once was the biggest watch manufacturer of the world!

Very nice watch indeed, but I rather would go for the cleaner version. The chrono is designed by a employee of Junghans and also a bit thick.
Even cheaper:

From all my watches my Exp II with pinholes is my favorite:

NOBODY will look at your watch with a loupe, and that's the only way you'd be able to tell the difference on your wrist.
The NOOB-J is clearly superior...and worth the $ in my opinion.
That's not the point. I'm just stating the examples in the quote aren't that accurate. Therefore obviously you are right!

Like I said, here's a PIG logo comparison between GEN , H maker and Noob that I found.
Don't think it's a big deal since they're all black on black, and possibly 0.6mm by 0.3mm right?
Nice, but not all gen pigs are exact the same!! Like on some the heads are flatter.

Here a photo from the back where you can see the difference between the anodized color.

Hmmm, sorry for the delay. Just forgot about it,...
Here some iPhone photo's I took from a genuine 292 and a replica. As you can see they look pretty much the same, but the angle of the bezel is clearly different and also the anodized back. Unfortunately I don't know which type of rep this was.
Here another nicer photo from the watch:

Just noticed your reply, will do it tomorrow! Please do share! -
Some time ago I made a few photo's of a Gen and rep next to each other. The angle of the bezel was different and the anodized case-back.
I made them with my phone. If someone likes it I can look them up.

Just leave it as it is!! I've a couple of dials that even look 'worse'. It's just telling you it's life.
Also it won't help the value of it.
Some dials weren't that good to begin with. Just like the '89 dials, nowadays almost all are restored. Another good example are Zenith chronometers 135.
