I'd like to have it as a backup. I mainly use the computer but electronics fail. I carry a regular depth gauge but if I can get rid of an extra hose it would nice.
Then indeed best to stick with a new model!

What a nice cars,... most of you should be able to wear expensive gens.
I don't own a car only a piece of metal which I'm restoring but nothing special and more for the fun of it.
-
That's a lot of money. I saw manny of them for a lot cheaper especially the vintage models. Of-course they are not very accurate and hard to read, but than again do you really want to use them?
I tend to use my divers but merely for fun and always carry a computer.
Here a nice link you might like;

There are a few like Favre Leuba, Sinn and Squale. Good luck with the hunt!

that's a first time I've seen a mechanical depth gauge on a watch that's not absurdly expensive. Very nice addition to my diving gear
Interesting approach. The depth gauge is embedded on the crystal so it appears to be floating over the dial. I've heard it's gorgeous in real life.
There are many more vintage models with the same system and a lot older!

I still don't understand the size of these models,....... I'll stick with my 'old' 3725 and preferable on leather
just my 2ct.

Very nice watch! Unfortunately a bit too big for me.

It is fake and nothing more,.... How to deal with it is entirely up to you!! If you feel better showing it off as a gen; go ahead! If not; don't!

and contacted the seller for additional photo's/info,.....

Easy, just look at the cyclops, spacing of the index, numbers on the bezel, etc.

You wear them so why not?? You obviously don't care about what other people think when seeing you wear a Fake. So why bother if people on Facebook see it??

It's always summer in California
Lucky you!!

I like white dials, but to be honest only in the summer. One of my most favorite watches has a white dial.

I understand,.. maybe better if I used a smiley!

Hmmm, about 10 minutes form now it's already Monday again,........ well at least where I live. At the moment not wearing a watch.

If you wear fake; you wear fake! Your own choice, why make a big deal off it?
Sometimes people ask me if my watch is fake or real (especially with Rolex). I always answer the same:
"Is that a real Rolex?"
"No, it's fake, a real Rolex might be like €400,- or even €600,-!"
"No way, a real one can cost you a couple of thousand!!!!"
"Oh really,... that's just crazy!"

You need a yellow gold clasp?

@TS: Don't be fooled. The watch you want to know about is a Tag Heuer!! It's just a re-edition of the Carrera 1964. Will do around $3000,- these days. There are manny variation.
Here is a link for your variation compared to the "real" thing: http://www.onthedash.com/docs/CompareCarreras.shtml
The Submariner Story

The Mondani books are great! I also have a copy of the submariner story and it is one of the nicest books I know.
Also have a copy of others from Mondani and they are all nice. Only disappointed about the Patek trilogy. It just doesn't have a lot of detailed info.
