I tried a Cosi Grande on over the weekend...me likey.
Victoria, finally got around to watching the last no reservations - Tony Bourdain is still wearing a Tag. He even mentions it when he's joking about celebrity endorsements.
-
On a slightly related note, I find myself targetting my forearms a lot more since getting a fiddy.
-
Dluddy, thats very good to hear!!!, i'm thinking about one for myself, but i was scared of those issues
Before you get a slevin, wait till you see a The Zigmeisterfied CD.
-
i do enjoy eye candy though and makes the work out much quicker.
Indeed...the proverbial dangling carrot.
-
Gotcha, I guess it's more a question of gym layout.
-
Just curious, to the folks who don't wear a watch for fear of damage, what's your workout comprise of? I'm a huge proponent of compound movements like deadlifts, squats, etc..and I've never put my watch in any mortal danger even though I'm a huge klutz.
-
BTW, I think my orange monster looks awesome with the scratches and small dings from heavy gym wearing. That watch was MADE to be beaten up.
-
I wear a DSN Panerai to the gym, actually the Panerai I bought from Slai!
It is the kick ass PVD one on the kevlar strap. No problems with it at all.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it!

Thanks to the late, great, Greg Moore for the background.
B)
I literally went
when I saw the helmet. Great choice of backdrop.
-
And Slai, aren't you scared to lose your watch when you put it down?? I would be.
I slip it in my pocket.
Sometimes I bring 3-4 watches with me if I plan on doing some cardio on the elliptical and just switch watches every 5 mins. Beats having a watch winder. Ok, I made that part up.
-
Neither of the first two watches are small. Does the bulkiness bother or hamper you?
For the most part, no. The only time I take off my watch is during certain exercises at the cable station.
-
Usually my PO or Seiko orange monster to the gym. I've worn my Cousteau on the odd occasion.
-
More pics are needed! I used to be a Wusthof believer and this is my first Shun. I love it...feels better in my hand that Wusthofs, and I can stare at the Damascus-style blade all day.

Fiddy with the latest toy that arrived in the mail.
-
That polished ceramic bezel has me craving another HBB especially since the clasp discomfort is gone.
-
Yep, I remember that thread. I was pretty active in it.
Food network is the default channel for my TV, and we get to see a lot of wristies on cooking shows. Good to hear that Tony's upgraded from his quartz Tag.

Correction, 2 Cosi Grandes. In the same episode too.
Edit: Duh, that's clearly the Tarawa.
-
Looks like he does have a Cosi Grande too!
-
I wonder if rep makers used a resized pic of a daywheel to make the rep...the resizing error really looks like my rep day wheel.
-
Ok, I think the pic resizing killed the "D". I found the TZ post and downloaded the full sized pic. D looks fine in it. Looks like it was a false alarm.
I feel so inadequate with my thin font now.
-
Even if that was a gen, I still maintain that my rep looks more gen than that gen!
-
Here's mine with an ETA daywheel.

The "D" in WED is definitely off.

Decided to switch to the pam...and only because I felt an odd compulsion to take a lume shot.
