Let me guess, he send it via EMS? I guess that happens when you dont use the search function and inform yourself. I have warned german members many times about NOT ORDERING STUFF VIA EMS FROM THE USA OR TAIWAN They are not stupid at customs. If you want them to believe that you send the watch in the US for repair, you have to have a postal reciept AND the invoice of the repair. Still you have to pay taxes on the repair (sometimes at least) which is 19% or so. You will definitely have to open the watch infront of them. And if you dont have a proper invoice, they WILL confiscate it AND prosecute you for importation of fake goods. They HAVE to do this once you OPEN the package. If you keep it closed and tell them to return it to the sender, nothing will happen.

i agree. and i'm very happe to be german, because we are the leaders in the renewable energy secotr but if you want to invest in renewable energy, you have to be an expert in that area so you can determine who's gonna be the global player of the future. not all of the current renewable energy corporations are going to survive the next 10 years.

Patek Philippe "faux" Tourbillion - Joshua (p.c.)
slay replied to Corgi's topic in General Discussion
oh my god, lol... of course this is not a see-through caseback roflmao jesus lol are you all blind or what? josh just uses some standart template so he doesnt have to write all the specifications again and again, b/c almost all watches have asian 21j and so on -
Volkswagen has made a + of about 100% last year. I expect that they will grow even more, especially in the asian market and with the new investor (Porsche). Apple is also good and will be worth a lot more in the future IMO. Apple has gone up about 3000% within the last 10 years. [censored] google, buy apple! btw. we always seem to have the same ideas, I was also thinkin about investing some money, nut 100% sure how I'm gonna spread it though. same goes with your management university thingee!

Well, I might have to add, that I ate 3 large Pizzas that evening. I usually dont drink that much. And the hangover was taken care with two 600mg ibuprofen before I went to bed at 5 or 6am edit: plus, consider I'm german, we drink a lot of beer (see Beerfest)
-
I had about 20 bottles of beer, half bottle of grey goose vodka (due to various members' recommendation it was this particular one), some jägermeister and tons of fun w/ fireworks and a flare guns. I left the party when some dumb ass thought it was funny to throw a bunch of hardcore fireworks into the (huge bowl of) sour-cream dip!

your review is very very nice, and the pictures are very well taken. I might reconsider my opinion about 450$ replicas...

yes, it says, Lacoste and shirts of ANOTHER cheaper brand have the same design. Since when does ANOTHER cheaper brand mean Ralph Lauren? Or what were you trying to imply with your post?! -
well said omni!

really? mine is like 50 inches+, so yours must be humongous! I never said RL and Lacoste have the exact same design, I said there are shirts that have the exact same design as lacoste shirts which are sold for a lot less When I'm "bumming" around at home or working in the shed, I wear shirts that cost 5$ or 10$ and not the expensive ones; right now I'm wearing a 15$ pajama, got it at a cofe store lol... very comfortable!! Though different ppl, different opinions. My sparring buddy always wears his 120$ Ralph Lauren polos when we fight for practise, and I always feel bad kicking him in the stomach, because I've already runined 2 of his shirts with my toe nails My old wrestling coach would have probably kicked us off the team if we came to practise with 120$ shirts... I wasnt even allowed to make my hair properly for the team photo -

apparently the ones sold in the US are made of lesser quality. same with Ralph Lauren polos. Guess that explains why you can buy RL polos for 50$ in the US (which is almost 1/3 of our price, 90Euros (120$)) -
the best source would probably be DW himself at least then you dont have to pay close to 1 grand for a 6263 case. but even DWs prices increased a lot.

The US ones are made in Peru and the European ones Made in France? really? I didnt know that! I paid 49Euros for a lacoste shirt (on sale though at a lacoste store), which is less than the 72$ you pay in the US -
I'm quite sure the sellers of all the casesets on eBay are members here on this forum.

this does not have to be a fake. can simply be a genuine daytona with a redial or an aftermarket dial or whatsoever. rolex parts dont always look the same, especialy not when you send and old watch in for service. you get the watch back with a new dial that has different characteristics. simple as that! I'm no Zenith movement expert, so I cant comment on the movement. What I can tell is that its a real zenith movement and that the rotor appears to be a real one. plus the watch comes with certificate and everything

I was calm. No need to calm down. I think its ridiculous to pay 72$ for those shirts, because most ppl only buy them (as Admin pointed out already) to show off on social events or at the golf club and not because they are such nice fabric. And you cant show off with a lacoste shirt that has an aligator as ridiculous as the one on your fake shirt (in fact it made me laugh out real loud, because it just looks so funny as if someone was trying to make a joke when he made that shirt). If you want nice fabric, buy a Cashmere, Pashmina or Shahtoosh shirt. And not cheap, thin cotton lol; as a matter of fact, when I bought my dad a genuine lacoste shirt as a present (he has never had one of those) he asked me if it was fake, because the fabric felt so cheap and thin. I have genuine Lacoste polos, too (I paid less than 72$ though), and RL and so on, and yes, maybe I sometimes wear them to show off. Dont get me wrong, but ff you are trying to tell anyone, that you wear a RL polo, because it "fits" you best, or because its made out of such nice fabric, you are only fooling yourself. In fact, lacoste shirts, and shirts of another (much cheaper) brand have the same design and are cut from the same cloth. Though you couldnt wear this shirt at the local golf club or at social event,s because all your rich friends will whisper at each other 'ohh, look, there's mr. 10.000$-watch and look what he's wearing, he's earing a WalMart shirt.. oh my god, does he have no shame??' I'd never try to argument "I wear RL because it's made of such nice fabric". Though I'd say that about my 300pounds sterling (which is like 600$) cashmere knit or my 150 pounds t-shirts that feel like a 2nd skin. Of course I paid for the design, too, but I mainly bought them because they feel so nicely. Same goes for daily products such has shampoo or toothpaste. The same stuff that's in Wella is in cheaper products from a different brand. Price difference? A LOT! -
Angus' pre-order price was lower than Josh's & Andrew's Current prices as far as I know. And I have never heared of Joshua buying the watch, he only showed the maker pictures and so on. Angus is stealing nothing from noone, in fact me (& other members here) found it not very nice from Andrew&Josh to act like Angus has done nothing and deserves no credit. Angus has done a great Job with this watch. period.

if you dont want it, I'll gladly take it for 700

No little Toy on in omni's package?

And those Tissot and Timexes and all the others have very good Quality Control, too. Some are even manufactured in siwtzerland and not in China.

there are in fact a LOT of GENUINE and SWISS (!!) 7750 powered watches which can be had for about 500$, thats why most of us think that 450$ is a lot.
