  1. I can only quote my signature: You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your f*cking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.
  2. you'll have a hard time finding them ###### screws. I lost one screw and one wire lug, so far no luck finding replacement. if you do, please send me a PM!
  3. I live in germany, too. No problem so far with Paul Andrew Silix and all the others except eddie
  4. wow, that sucks dude... sorry man! that amg in your avartar is yours, right?
  5. this is the first negative transaction I had on ebay. over 200 were positive so far, mostly very expensive stuff. very sad that something like this has to happen over a 30$ item.
  6. I bought a Molnija pocket watch from this guy. He assured in the item description that is was in working order. What I got was a piece of useless junk. Most of the gears had broken teeth and the whole thing wasnt working at all. I mailed him numerous times, without an answer. I then threatened him with a paypal complaint and he told me he could give me a partial refund. I told him he can stick his partial refund where the sund dont shine (those werent exactly my words, but that about sums it up) and that I demand a FULL refund. The packing of the watch was more than poor, even though he charged like what, 20$ for shipping which costs like 4$. I then made the mistake and was HONEST when filing my paypal complaint. This was a lesson to me, that was the last time I was honest to paypal regarding ANYTHING. They asked me questions like "did you recieve anything, even if the package was emtpy" and I klicked on YES, because I got something, but it was broken. I then explained the situation in a little field at the bottom of the page and my complaint was refused RIGHT after I clicked on send. Those bastards! They try to trick you, so NEVER click on "I recieved something" when you file a complaint. I will now call master card and have THEM dispute the transaction, even though that will most likely kill my paypal account. But I dont give a s***, paypal can eat my tiny little [censored]. Its just 50$, but 50$ is 50$! And that ukrainian a-hole ebay seller wont see a DIME of my money.
  7. no, this is _NOT_ how it should be. if I order something and dont get anything delivered and the one who sold it to me, doesnt contact me in any way, I file a complaint after 45days, because thats all paypal gives you, 45days. after that you cant file a complaint anymore
  8. i wouldnt give up on the watch. they cant force you to keep an invoice of purchase all the time. just fake a paypal statement over the repair and you should be fine. and if it still gets destroyed, tell him you want to see the destroyed watch and proof that it has been destroyed.
  9. then she doesnt need a visal. portugal=eu, london=eu. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schengen_Agreement good luck w/ your new job!
  10. just fake a paypal invoice, I did it numerous times. if you dont know how to do it, let me know# oh and btw. the smartest thing by the seller would have been to send it with a courier (eg. UPS), that way you dont get this kind of trouble.
  11. that one dude is wearing a panerai though... doesnt seem to be a 112, but its a PAM
  12. I hope you all now know what I meant with it looks awfull having those subdials so close to each other in a large watch... imagine that movement in a 44mm pam.... YUCK!
  13. my lip is great, you cant see one bit no more! and the most surprising thing was the hospital bill, it was only 99Euros. the surgeon who I went to after I got them stiches was 5 times as expensive for just lookin at it and letting a damn nurse, who couldnt do jack, rip them stiches out.
  14. they dont make zenith panerais which are larger than 40mm, because due to the nature of the zenith movement, the subdials are very close to each other. in a huge watch, this would look stupid, if theres like 1cm room between the the side of the dial and the subdial. it would look like those chinese pam reps with auto movements that have the seconds subdial very close to the center pin. on the other hand, watches which are ment to house a zenith movement (pre 2000 daytonas for example) look rather stupid with movements that have them subdial pins farther apart (just look at the pre 2000 daytona reps with 7750 movement, it looks awful) i hope this explains why and i also hope this explains why i hardly doubt that larger pams with zenith movement would have sold well
  15. I doubt watchmaker9 makes his own watches. he probably sells the same as everyone else. FYI my PT Sub is also waterproof up to 5meters (13feet), I didnt go any further, maybe it will survive 125ft also. Nothing special about that, a properly manufactured sub should be waterproof for at least 200meters. Even my g-shock which has chrono buttons is safe for 200meters.
  16. thats what I thought! anyways, this: http://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k53/watches-photogallery/ looks very good indeed! if the price is right, I just might pull the trigger and a DRSD
  17. I dont like that he refers to reps as Grade 1 or Grade AAA and compares his reps to reps from idealwatches and co. IF that site is even georges website!
  18. puh, tell me about it! I went to a watchmaker here in town to put my JLC Reserve de Marche back together (since I dont have a loupe), there was like two parts, the movement and the top plate with the rotor on it. He said he wont work on watches someone else took apart - WTF? Then I asked him if he could LOOK (!!!) at my DW6263 and maybe clean the movement, change the crystal (I already had a T21) and such because it stops every day at 8 o'clock. To that point I did not tell him that watch was a replica, so he was like "Hmm, this is an impostor, too?" (he didnt say replica!) and he looked ant the bracelet... I was like "How can you tell" and he pointed his finger to the bracelet and the Rolex engraving on the clasp... I was like "Yes, this is a replica, but it's was darn expensive and its not some piece of junk!" It porbably costed like 10x more than the watch he had on (some rlx GMT Pepsi look-alike watch with quartz movement). He also accused me that my PAM was an impostor, even though he didnt even know what the hell panerai is. Asked him again if he could install the crystal (told him the bezel is lose already and asked him to glue that thing after he installed the crystal) and LOOK at the movemetn. He was like "Nooo, thats a rolex, I cant get parts for rolex and not for impostors either.. and I dont have tools to pop the bezel off!!" I told him that I already told him 5 minutes ago that the bezel is lose already. He repeated the same [censored] again and I just left that retard. The funny thing is, that watchmaker NEVER has anyone coming to his store, I'm still surpirsed HOW in the heck he can keep his business running. I REALLY wanted to do him a favor and take my watches to him, because I felt bad for him having no business, but after that conversation I dont give a rats ass if he starts to decay! I was really angry when I left there, I mean the least thing he could do is LOOK at them watches and install the T21. Now the watch sits at some other watchmaker in Hamburg who told me the movement is a very very poor chinese copy and the gears and such are not fabricated well but he'll see what he can do. And he also put that JLC back together (it still doesnt work though, he told me he could take it apart and clean it and such which would get it to run again, but also told me that would cost me about 80bucks which the watch is not really worth). I hate such snobs who say no before they even try or look at it.

    ...

you now kenbörg, maybe I WOULD have appologized earlier, not because I thought I was wrong, just to make ppl happy. But after getting called names by some cocknut newbie and you not interfering (we had this long time ago, you KNEW who started, still I was the idiot because you didnt want to offend a "dealer"). If you had asked me NICELY, I would have done it. But not after getting called a scumbag and such. I'm packing [censored], I'm not someone who leaves the battleground waiving the white flag, you SHOULD know that! But I have seen, that YOU have _NO_ loyality. Just try to ask yourself why theres a helluvalot more traffic on the other side and why a lot of known members went over there! over and out // btw. i dont even know what the fudge you still want, at last I did as you wished, so you wouldnt starty crying again, so whats your point?
  20. I doubt it will stay free, but its good to know that theres gonna be a paypal alternative! I'd be the first to try it
