  1. as far as i know, it is ILLEGAL to ship alcohol thorugh the post in the united states!

i had a lot of trouble getting alcohol into the states when i lived there (exactly, i was not old enough to buy it back then  ) because almost noone would risk sending it from outside US! and in the conus there are close to none who sell alcohol over the net!

  2. Almost one month to the day of getting my new PAM 127 I was sitting watching TV and the glass dome popped and the so-called sapphire dome was in pieces everywhere. Is this common?

So I need a dome to my PAM 127. If you can supply one then I'm in. Another question would be how do I replace it? I'd like to do it myself as many watch repairers in London won't touch a replica.

    Please can anyone help. Thanks

AFAIR davidsen is selling those. and yes its a common problem. caused probably by a faulty case (the area where the crystal sits on is slightly uneven sometimes (due to someone not working properly with the CNC machine?) causing the crystal to shatter, so you might take it to a watchmaker and let him check on that prior instaling a brand new 80$ crystal!)

  3. LOL, trying to pick a fight with me again eh? No sale this time Einstein. :bleh:

    [/sarcasm]

nope, was just stating the facts :) i assume you are able to read :p

btw. you never said "THANK YOU" for the money I send you!

  4. That's kind of what I'm saying. With an iPod, you're locked into using iTunes as your unique source for music files.

For instance, my whole music collection has been downloaded off of other sources, and I'm under the impression that they will not be accepted by an iPod - which is why I've held off from buying one. Presuming that Watcher's wife already has a collection of music files, she's going to need an open-format player which will accept them. Either that, or purchase a new music collection through iTunes.

Once again, correct me if I'm wrong...

that is bullcrap ;) ipod accepts every mp3 file, besides microsoft DRM content (usualy WMA and not Mp3).

you can also use your ipod with winamp. you dont have to use itunes!

ipods accepts: AAC, MP3 and AAC-DRM files. if you have other files, itunes converts them to AAC for you. very easy! i have about 20.000 mp3's from the net and every single one worked fine on my ipod!

They can also play Windows WAV files and Windows WMA files as long as they have no DRM, or copy-protection.

that is not correct ;) ipod does NOT play WMA (windows media audio) files. they have to be transcoded into another format (itunes usualy does this). speaking of transcoding, you can transcode EVERY audio file into a different format (besides DRM protected files maybe)

btw. www.allofmp3.com is the source i use for my audio files. it lets me pic codec and bitrate. and it's not expensive either (about 5cents per song)

  5. swan neck looks pretty. girls with boob jobs look pretty (sometimes?).

you'd rather get HOT girl with boob job or fugly chick with flat [censored]?

besides... without swan neck, you get asian, you want asian? or you want swiss? thats the question! i prefer blondes with boob jobs over small chicks with small feeet and flat [censored]

  6. I think Zenith were one of the first to make the flyback, they may have even been the first (I think that's what it said on the video that came with my Zenith watch).

As many will know Panerai also have a flyback chrono - the automatic PAM212.

I can't remember which movement is used in the genuine watch though, but would be interested to know if it can be replicated.

    :victory:

7750 with flybackmodule is used in the gen
