  1. Onve again thank you all for your kind words...

I am the first person who HATES seeing people say that they will leave and then stay and it looks like some kind of game to win the sympathy of the others.

I assure you this is not the case with me.. Yesterday I have Ordered the Admin to unregister me, but probably he had a 'plan' in his mind and didn't do it.

sorry, but the "pls unregister me" crys for attention IMHO. if one doesnt want to visit anymore, one can just leave his account as it is. no need to get it deleted or "unregistered".

  2. This movement is not going to be cheap, that's one thing for sure. =P

    Have fun...

    Enjoy the weekend!

    ANDREW

it shouldnt be much more expensive than the old swan neck movement with the wrong shaped regulator, otherwise its just a huge rip-off mark up :)

    but time will tell!

  3. i have been to many concerts, most of the bands you guys probably dont even know.

but limp bizkit you guys probably know. that was the first concert of a "well-known" band i went to!

i'm planning on going to the red hot chili peppers concert in june!

  4. yes it does have the fixed pin :)

even IF its 200$, add the 120$ for the CN fiddy and you have a _PERFECT_ fiddy for 320$!

if i get it for a good price, i will replace ALL my CN unitas/old bridge unitas movement in my pams with one of those!

  5. This is a well-known problem. The threads on the insert that engages with the threads on the crown are made of soft metal - and those threads strip.

The Zigmeister has a fix - which involves removing the insert and shortening the winding stem.

This means, of course, that there is no water resistance around the crown.

But would you really want to take a replica swimming?

I take mine off when I wash my hands.

    Happy timekeeping!

    Clive

lol clive i think you didnt read his post properly, because his problem is in NO way related to the threads :D

the problem is this: when trying to screw the crown on the threads, the movement keeps winding (and doesnt go in the "I'm not winding anymore, because you are trying to screw the crown in" position)

  6. da vinci code was OK. not as thrilling as most ppl say the book is, but better than a lot of other movies.

the endig was sort of stupid i think, when the old man turned against them two. there was no need for that. oh well
