Its not called "E-Series", it should be called "G-Series".
Also, since when does davidsenjp cary the engraved bridge movement?
-
i bought my dad one of the older ones of that watch. it is a piece of junk. dont know if this is any better. the opening mechanism SUCKS bigtime on the old one and the rubber is way too stiff.
-
i HAVE one of those letters (got it from GAF) told them to go (quote) [censored] themselves. never heared from them again, and hopefully never will
-
yes, but I was talking about transplating this movement into my CN fiddy (which cost me close to 100bucks!)
together that would make 368$ for a perfect fiddy (still about 100$ less than joshua is charging for the OLD swan neck fiddy!)
-
joshua has the old ones back in stock... and hes trying to get them out for top $! unreasonable price i think, over 400$ for a watch with the OLD swan neck movement... I think I will built some fiddys with those new ones and still be able to sell them for less!

looks like asian auto
-
so...?
-
spielberg is one of the worst directors!
-
Yes... it is probably a purely philanthropic gesture because he loves replicas so much...
-
This movement is not going to be cheap, that's one thing for sure. =P
Have fun...
Enjoy the weekend!
ANDREW
it shouldnt be much more expensive than the old swan neck movement with the wrong shaped regulator, otherwise its just a huge rip-off mark up
but time will tell!

Did someone mention pearls? You silly boys should know by now how I feel about pearls.
you want me to give you a pearl-necklace?
-
i have been to many concerts, most of the bands you guys probably dont even know.
but limp bizkit you guys probably know. that was the first concert of a "well-known" band i went to!
i'm planning on going to the red hot chili peppers concert in june!
-
yes it does have the fixed pin
even IF its 200$, add the 120$ for the CN fiddy and you have a _PERFECT_ fiddy for 320$!
if i get it for a good price, i will replace ALL my CN unitas/old bridge unitas movement in my pams with one of those!
-
probably, but it will go down in a little while.
but i talked to another dealer already who told me he would get those in a little while and keep me updated
-
Simply stunning isn't it, my fav of all time, bar none. 8800 is nice but 8910i is the business!!
yepp, I had it (not the 8910i but the 8910 without the color display), unfortunatly my g/f likes to do those video-calls via UMTS so i switched to a SonyEricsson V600i

check this out:
http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=5009&hl=
looks like I can finaly upgrade my CN fiddy with one of those.....
what#s even more "HOLY SH*T!" is, that I DID NOT pay over 600$ for a used swan neck fiddy and only 100$ for a CN fiddy and can now upgrade to an even BETTER swan neck fiddy for just a few bucks more :D

This is a well-known problem. The threads on the insert that engages with the threads on the crown are made of soft metal - and those threads strip.
The Zigmeister has a fix - which involves removing the insert and shortening the winding stem.
This means, of course, that there is no water resistance around the crown.
But would you really want to take a replica swimming?
I take mine off when I wash my hands.
Happy timekeeping!
Clive
lol clive i think you didnt read his post properly, because his problem is in NO way related to the threads
the problem is this: when trying to screw the crown on the threads, the movement keeps winding (and doesnt go in the "I'm not winding anymore, because you are trying to screw the crown in" position)

da vinci code was OK. not as thrilling as most ppl say the book is, but better than a lot of other movies.
the endig was sort of stupid i think, when the old man turned against them two. there was no need for that. oh well
-
this problem has nothing to do with the threads AT ALL!
its a movement/stem problem
-
i have to tell you, that is one nice cellphone!
-
seem like only the longer part of the strap shrunk that much... the one where the buckle is attached only shurnk about 1mm
-
I second that!!!
