  1. First off, Arnaud is a great guy to deal with! He shipped superfast, he offered to pay AFTER I get the item and sent me more than I thought I would get!

The watch looks real stunning. Pics cant describe it, really. I've owned a lot of watches, I had many Panerai's, and this one sure "feels" like a gen the most. Those of you who have read my review about Pauls Sub might know that the "feeling" is one of the most important factors for me. If the watch dont feel right, it aint right!

It is awfully well finshed and I doubt anyone could tell it's a fake by handling it and lookin at it from all angles.

I do NOT like the butterfly clasp though, but that goes for all Panerais, it's too dificult to open, the one I have on my grandfathers watch from the watch prince is a lot better, IMO!

I also dont think the box is worth it's money! I always wanted to buy one, but I never did, I dont know, guess I always thought 100 bucks is too much for a box. But this came with a box and TWO other zenith reps for an awfully low 200Euros. I didnt even know I was going to get TWO Zenith reps also!

The Box is not very well finished, anyone who opens it and takes a closer look at it and the material could easily tell that it's a fake! The printing on the warranty card is poor and the Wood is also not real wood, its made out of a piece of particle board. If I had bought this for 100bucks from a dealer, I would have been very very disapointed! I really dont know how anyone can call this box "very well finished" and made of "very good quality" and call it a "very very nice pearwood box"

If you really want a nice box, honestly, buy the gen for 250bucks on the bay!

The whole package was a very nice deal though, I'm more than pleased, and of course it's not Arnaud's fault that they produce such a crapy box and sell it for so much :)

I took the pictures in the kitchen, because I didnt want to go into the yard cause it was raining, and while being there, I thought I should give you an insight in tonites dinner plans :) But the watch comes first:

Those are the two Zenith watches I got for free, my father liked the white faced when I showed it to him the other day, so I gave it to him.

  2. besides the 187, all of honpos watches are the same watches our dealers have. they come from the same factory and have the same luminova on them, unless honpo himself relumed them.

there has yet to be a watch, honpo had and others dont have.

I dont need to buy from honpo to KNOW that he is specialised in the asian market. As a matter of fact, members from RWG were asking him, if he could ship to europe and he said no, I only deal with you if you have a japanese address.

Rumors were that honpo had a seller on iOffer who did NOT have good feedback. He is now gone. Noone knows if he really was a representative of honpo (at least he claimed that and offered honpos stock)

Ken does do the overseas part for honpo now, he's not been around very long, at least not in our community. And I dont know any other big online market for replica watch sellers besides our community. If there was another "secret" community Ken sold his watches to within all the years, some ppl here would know about it. He probably sold some on iOffer, too, but I dont know that.

I remember very well when members first stumbled upon watchonpo, thats was NOT too long ago! Back then, honpo had even cheaper prices than our dealers which was the main reason why members wanted to buy directly from him.

Then suddenly the webaddress changed and prices went up. They also started to go "international" thorugh Ken.

Thats the story. I'm not saying Ken is a ripper nor that he is bad or whatsoever. I'm simply saying, the product he offers, even with the discount, is MORE expensive than from our trusted dealers, who offer the same product.

And due to the fact, that Ken has not been around here very long and that honpo has NOT been international for a long time, it's quite obvious, that they simply CANT have the same experience shipping&custom wise as our dealers have.

  3. I highly doubt Ken can compare with Paul or Josh in terms of overseas shipping. Simple as that. He might have sent a few watches overseas, but I doubt he has as much knwoledge about european customs as Paul or others have. And we dont have much experience with him. Or please enlighten me and redirect me to the dozens and dozens of positive reviews about him over here!

And none, please tell me, which models other dealers DONT have.

  4. Yes, but US customs are not that strict. In fact they are among the laziest!

I doubt they ship very many packages overseas, if they would, we would know them. Honpo has been a shop for the japanese market only in the past,. and Ken took them international, Yes, but I doubt he's got as much experience with customs and such like Paul has. Paul is a high volume seller, he ships out dozens of packages every day, overseas, and has been doing so for the past few years.

I wouldnt wanna take the risk of confiscation with a dealer I dont really know. God knows if they replace a defective watch or resend if it gets caugt by customs. And you dont even get any advantage over buying from River, Paul, Josh, Andrew, Eddie or Jay&Angel. In fact I see only disadvantages with those models, because they are more expensive.

If they would offer a product, others dont have (the 187 in the past was maybe worth the risk, but besides that watch there is no other "exclusive" watch), I would give it a shot, but I dont see the need taking a risk with an unknown dealer if he has the same product our trusted dealers have, for more money.

Just my humble opinion, of course everyone can order from wherever he prefers.

  5. to those who live in custom-tricky countries I wouldnt risk ordering from them, simply because I doubt they have as much experience with overseas shipping as Paul, River, Andrew, Josh and the others have! And they are still not cheaper than river but offer the same product.

  6. I especially love: -Not responsible for lost packages to Italy!

Italys postal system SUCKS ASS! One of my packages took 3 months to arrive! From Germany!

...And your dealer probably said "I bought that watch for $85...and that guy just paid $275 for it.....my god......" :bangin:

    ...it's all relative...

    lol, true!

  7. use www.allofmp3.com

those songs might cost you 2-3 CENTS (!!) per song, but you can PICK codec, bitrate and so on. They got aslmost anything and you can download with hi-speed. And its legal in most countries.

I have bought over 5000 songs, if not more, from them.

  8. as far as I can tell, Jay&Angel are the most loyal dealers when it comes to replacement. They wont even DISCUSS with you, if something is not 100% right, they will make it right and dont start with stuff like "are you sure you didnt press that button and didnt set the daten between 12 and 3 o'clock" etc etc

as for the rest, the dealers who offer the watches for those groupbuys always change. One time it was andrew, then josh, then eddie and now it's jay&angel. next time, maybe it will be paul?

  9. All of you probably know this watch here:

    112141-23701.jpg

Take a closer look at the crown of the VERY FIRST version of this watch, it looked like this:

    112141-23702.jpg

awfully close to the WM crowns (hope its OK to take your pick, quarks!):

    112141-23703.jpg

The newer ones, however, look like this:

    112141-23704.jpg

WHY did they stop making those crowns and started with the current ones (which look like crap IMO)?!

And even more important, does ANYONE of you even have one of the very first versions of this watch?

  10. thanks a lot for the insight!

Maybe I expressed myself wrong, I do NOT want to do varsity sports such as basketball or football or whatsoever, I would never pick a university because they have a good football team! In fact I could not even compete with US High School students, simply because we dont have school sports and the only way to do a sport is to go to a prive club. And they dont practise 5 times a week for 3 hours each day. Thats also the reason why it really surprises me, that Dirk Nowitzki can compete with US Basketball players!

But Boston College offers to join a Material Arts Club and a Skiing Club and such. That means there's the possibility of doing stuff I really enjoy. I have been doing Muay Thai for over 6 years now and I would like to contunue doing Material Arts. I also really enjoy skiing and snowboarding.

All that I cannot do in Berkeley, because for Skiing its simply to hot and there aint no mountains around and all the other University Clubs do not attrackt me one bit. In fact theres not one single Club I'm even interested in a littlebit. And I'm not the nerdy kind of guy who studies 24/7, that would make me go crazy!

And Boston is a great city, too. My favourite, I could say, along with Charleston, SC!

And as you have also mentioned, the Bachelor program seems to be better at BC, because they dont make you take as many Core classes and focus on MANAGEMENT and not on other crap. And you are tought by the good professors!

  11. credit card data is sold on the internet, and some ppl have the equipment to UPLOAD your CC data onto blank cards and then PAY with those cards in stores. They even have equipment to make fake ID's with all your name and stuff on it.

They sell CC informations including your full name, Social Security and so on for about 1$. Plastics with those infos encoded on them are about 35$. IDs they sell for 100-250$
