  1. HAHAH I had sooo much fun in one of those edinbourgh buses....

me and my friends we were at fettes and we needed to get to LIDL (that supermarket), but we didnt know how to, and we just went into the next bus that stopped at fettes, and everytime the bus came to a street crossing we were like "comeon, turn right, turn left etc." because we wanted to come as close to lidl as possible and everytime the bus stopped at a bus stop we thought about getting out, because there always was the risk of the bus going in a totaly different direction... but in the end, we had luck EVERY darn time and the bus stopped RIGHT IN FRONT of LIDL, lmao that was soooo funny!! I really should have played the lottery that day, because we had sooo much luck xD

  2. Great, if you find the link, please post it here, I'm off to eat now. I may put up a bunch of dealer pics and genuine pics later on too. I've saved a lot of them.

I'd like to see a comparison of the white J12 with genuine and rep too

That one stands out a bit more, a little more unusual. I'll have a black watch once the 028 gets PVD'd :whistling:

I think it was over at RWI. Try&look there, because I cant.

  3. Guys

    This is just a prototype...

The markers will still be EPOXIED on. This Factory is making the BEST DATE MAG ever. Magnification Lens is done exact like genuine version.

Another watch to look out for from this factory is the CHOPARD XL Gran Turismo Limited Edition. You will be WOW away..

    Andrew

we know its a prototype, thats why we tell you what flaws it has!

and since the markers are still epoxied, the watch is basically junk. No way to sissy around this, way too many letters have fallen off already, noone should buy these modells, unless the "factory" fixes this issue, thats my opinion, because only if we stop buying this crap, they will eventualy get it right.

if you continue to buy crap, they will never change it.

  4. glad your recieved them so fast :) How long has it been? Only 5 days, hasnt it? Wow, that was pretty fast, I didnt even send express or anything!!

and btw. I would not suggest doing it yourself. I tried to reglue the tube into my S ub, and the glue hardned before I could screw the tube in all the way, now its not ALL the way in the threads, but its not noticeable at all. Still I wouldnt do it again.

  5. That depends on the ceramic. Ceramic is dried mud, and the type of mud determines what the finished product will be like.

For instance, pottery is ceramic and I doubt anyone would suggest that a terracotta pot would be unscratchable.

Therefore, the quality of ceramic used in the J12 reps could, for all I know, be variable.

On my knifes it sais "200.000 times harder than steel", but they do chip easily, thats why one should not cut on things a solid surface (like glas or any other surface that is not a bit flexible) with them. of course there are different grades of ceramic!

  6. WOW, looks like I'm not the only audio-freak here :)

Most of my friends only have sony systems and other junk like that!

I used to have a pair of blaupunkt speakers (very old ones, I got them as a gift from my dad), those cost nearly 2000$ back in the days, which are very good, too, but they dont look to appealing ;) Will try to take some pics of my system when I get the time!

  7. I just got a pair of Tannoy Sensys dc2's for my Red Rose Passion and let me tell you, them three do sound like heaven (Shanling cd player powered)! I've been listening to bach beethoven mozart tschaikowsky and vivaldi for the past few hours and I just cant stop!

The music feels like magic in my ears, its just so damn good!! I just love this high end audio stuff!

  8. I like that guys pictures, I have no knowledge about photography or whatsoever, they just appeal to me, unlike most other pictures which look (in some way) too artificial to me.

And yes Neil, your pictures do look like the ones shot for watch magazines and stuff. Impressive, but not my taste, I dont like most the pics in watch magazines either. They look like they have no "life", dont know ifyou know what I mean, but when I look at watches in magazines, I just feel that there's no soul in the watch, unlike when I see them in reality.

There's no point of arguing about art, because each has his own opinion, which is a good thing. I just thought that those 187 pics looked very very well made to me, to my eyes better than most of the stuff shown here.

But maybe it's just the watch, because as far as I remember, noone here has a gen 187 ;)

  9. the worst value rep is definetly the DW6263, but its also one of the best rep. I dont wanna know how much money (and especialy TIME!!) I put into that baby already :)

Best value Rep is my Submariner from PT (ETA). Why? because it keeps great time, its 100% waterproof and feels very solid and good. I had some troubles with the clasp pin, but that was a quick fix, thanks to ubi!

  10. still your blue pics are in no way close to that dudes pics ;)

to me that guys pics look better than neils. neils look a little bit too synthetic/artificial to me, like sometimes in watch ads when you dont know if its the actual watch or a computer made image. but thats just my humble opinion. I prefer pictures without all the fancy photoshop tricks such as removing the reflections and all that kind of stuff.
