Maybe we get a perfect version if we take Angus' case + Goerges Dial+Movement+Tachymeter (has noone else noticed that Angus' tachymeter is totally wrong??)

Mrs Pugwash has just moved to Scotland to prepare our new house. I'm joining her in 2 weeks, so yes, I can either go out and paint the town red, spending money I don't have generally making a nuisance of myself or, I can stay at home and "play with my watches".

Anyway, I did a bunch of research on these things and came to the conclusion that it was worth the money. I ordered a Tan version. But then I'm one of those crazy guys that spent $1700 on a rep. You can add this to the list. If it is as good as Sash says I will likely buy more.

its not ebay who pulls the auctions, its GAF, GAF has their own account and they are capable of pulling EVERY auction they want, without any reason

this is also the reason, why I doubt anyone can sue eBay, because eBay gives those accounts away to the trademark owners

Not to be rude, I dont think that is any of your business, but since you are so nosy, it was a genuine dial I bought for my Sub, but since I started a different project (next to various other project that are unfinished yet) which was already money-consuming enough, I tried to sell it and then sold it to someone who contacted me after my auction was pulled (for a little profit actually)

my guess is all the auctions were pulled, because it was keyword spamming. the cases were NOT rolex cases, and because of that, you are not allowed to put the word ROLEX in the title!

GAF has the right to cancel any auction they want. They canceled one of my auctions a while ago and sent me threatening letters, even though there was no evidence in my auction text, that the submariner dial I was selling was not a singer dial.

Still man, 500bucks is a lot! Do you know how much those who make this get paid? maybe 1$ per day!

With watches its something different. Not everyone can assemble a movement, you need watchmakers for that. You need machines to CNC the watchcases etc. etc. etc.

But making a leather bag is fairly EASY compared to making a watch.

Plus, theres a LOT of risk of your package getting caught by customs, because those bags require large packaging, and customs tend to go for large parcels instead of smaller ones.

But why are you guys all nagging about 500$ for a bag made of real leather (real cost maybe 50-70$), but you NEVER nagg about 35$ for a set of watch hands made out of brass (real cost max. 2-5cents, probably less).

You are overpaying 116666% for a set of hands, while you complain about overpaying 833% for a leather bag?!

I must admitt, I ordered hands for 35$ myself, but just because I think one of my complete watch will gain a LOT in resell value if I add those hands. I still think that 35$ for a set of hands is ridicolous and a total rip off, but I have no other choice

I'm only makin the good stuff on the weekends... During the week I either eat out in a restaurant (thai food is THE [censored]!) or get something to go or I eat bread with ham or so

LoL, it gets even funnier.

Today they showed a guy on the news who stood in line at Wal Mart, waiting for a PS3. Some guys came up and wanted his money, (he had over 3k in his pocket, because he wanted to buy 3 PS3s). But he did call the polica right before they came towards him, because he saw them mugging 2 children for 75cents.

He refused to give them his money, even after they punched him down and kicked him on the ground. He then told them he already called the police and they left, but not without SHOOTING him in the stomach.

He then crawled into walmart, spitting blood, and told a wal mart salesperson to hand his buddys his wallet so they can buy the 3 Playstations for him.

He was then taken to a hospital and he got a 4th PS3 for free from wal mart.

Now the funny part is, he didnt even want the PS3 for himself, he just wanted them to resell them on eBay.

That is really some FUNNY stuff lol
