  1. Well having serviced one, I can tell you that it is the most troublesome and difficult movement known to man...

The cage with the escape wheel, balance, pallet etc...took me 10 (TEN) hours to assemble...very hard to work on to say the least...

How much to service? If you can find someone, not cheap at all...I'll never do another unless it's by the hour...

    RG

May I ask what takes you so long?

Whenever I try to do something on a watch (install caseclamps for example, which sounds like an easy job), it always takes HOURS, because those damn screws wont get in the right place or the damn case clamp is not in the right position OR I press to hard with the tweezers and the screw jumps miles away and I have to look for ita all over the place, so I have to try this "easy" job over and over and over, and after 1 hour I finally managed to install ONE damn caseclamp.

  2. I don't know what the laws are in your area, but here as long as you give the company two formal notices that the goods are not yours and you didn't request them, and that they are available for collection (at their expense) and will be sold if they aren't collected by a specified time, then they become yours!

Yes, I think it is similar here. I have to call my mother about it, she is a lawyer, she should know!

  3. send them a e-mail with : merry x-mas 2 u 2...and the problem is solved!

why don't I recive such "presents" in my mail!

Well, I dont want to keep it for half a year and then recieve eMails from them "blah blah blah, we discovered we sent you something by mistake, why didnt you send it back, blah blah blah".

Now I cant use it, and I cant sell it, because they might want it back in 6 months or so, when they discover they made a mistake!

Now we're curious. What did they send you?

    JTB

it is an IPSC sport gun.

  4. On Monday I got something in the mail which was definietly not mine. I contacted the sender and told him, that I recieved somethin which is NOT mine and which I have never ordered.

(FYI I sent something to them for repair a while ago, but that is already sorted out)

So they reply "No, that cant be possible. What Item did you recieve? I will check with the shipping center!"

I told them what it was, and told them again, that I have not ordered anything from them and that the item is not mine.

Now I get an email that says "Oh, no problem, we replaced some parts on your item with better parts, Marry Christmas!"

And this is not language barrier or whatsoever. The item costs over 200euros, and I just wanted to be honest about it (and not just keep it without saying a word). But they simply dont get it. I think they have too much money or something!

  5. What you realy need is this in there ebay not selling it but i might bid on it!

Just FYI, this movement will not fit any of the watches, because its way too large!

and as I have already told you via eMail, very nice marco! I hope mine turns out at least half as good :)

  6. Long story short....

I won an auction on e-bay and paid right after the auction. Obviously the seller wasn't happy with the price and refunded my $$ 8 days later. Seems he did this to three people in a week. I left negative feedback and he did the same to me...

I need some tips on setting up a fake account so I can win more auctions and leave negative feedback on him....

lmao, dont EVER acuse ME of being childish again

  7. OK, so if I said 3 million not 6 million, I'm safe under the law? My understanding is that I'm not. This was an atrocious crime against humanity to be sure, but forbidding the discussion of historical facts and figures is still over the top.

I dunno about that, but I think you are right. As a matter of fact, I remember arguing with a teacher of mine that no democratic country can have such a stupid law back in high school days.

I agree wiht you, horrible crime, but noone can really say for sure if it was 6million, 1million or 20million. And if you try to discuss this, you get most likely sent to prision or called a nazi or whatsoever

  8. BSL is Breed specific laws on dogs.German goverment killed about 500-600 dogs in ONE year that was just regualr familiy dogs that only had wrong breed name and looks that is what we have registerd but the numbers are far more :( This happend after 2 pit dogs killed a boy later on the vet found amfetamin and that both dogs was starved and justed as fighting dogs, any breed woud go insane whit that mix.

Its like saying a Polish guy is more potentail dangerus then a Danish guy so lets ban all polish people, its just a stupid law that is a racist law in my eyes its always starts at the bottom we all now that.

    Cheers

there's nothing racist about those laws. some dogs ARE killer animal.s if ypou deny that, you deny scinetific biology. noone neeeds to have those dogs. only weak idiots have those dogs here (and they are ALL idiots here), becauise they are so weak, they cant even defend themself against a pudel!

Weak. Germany comes up with all sorts of crazy ideas, though. A while back they made it illegal to tell the truth about the holocaust.

    so,whats the truth abou holocaust?

in germany its only illlegal to deny holocaust!

  9. DW Daytona had the poorest value. But I somehow have the feeling the watch has a curse attached to it. Some ppl will know what I'*m talking about. You think it's working, but WOHOOO the next day something is wrong. Than you get a super expensive movement for it, and still something does not fit here or there, or well you know, its a pain in the ass! I sold all my parts except for the Genuine Crown&Tube.

I may get another one in the future, but for now, the DW 6263 is just too much for my nerves along with other project I have on hand!
