Please don't bid if you can't pay , this makes 3rd time trying to SELL this item .
lol

I agree. This part requires no special skills to remove.
I mean, if they can make a 1:1 case (and even a tourbillon movement), they sure should be able to engrave some letters onto a rotor
-
that thing should be engraved. but judging from the pictures, they have the wirting applyied with stick on letters which is a bad thing IMO.
and its not sooo hard to engrave the rotor (just in case someone comes out of his hole and starts yelling "HEEY engraving a rotor is sooooo damn complicated, its even harder than to manufacture a grande complication!!!"), the older (and some of the newer) 7750 Panerai rotos were engraved and the unitas bridges are also engraved.
-
Yeah, but what id the movements come from one source, cases from another and you're just the guy that assembles them?
Then you do the following (it is really simple, I think not too hard for anyone, even for those without a degree!):
Unscrew screw, take plate off, Print on plate, put plate back on, turn screw tight.
-
Pressure?
Since when does a printer apply excessive pressure onto anything?
-
why would a printed mark "break" a movement?!
-
but the position of that power reserve thingee is totally different from all the power reserve pams, isnt it?
-
Yeah, well Clive was being quiet, so I had to stand in for him.
He's probably doing his "bike-like" thingee right now!
-
I think finepics knows how to do it, and I think he also offers or offered this service!
-
gen or rep? what watch was this picture taken of?
-
I buy replicas (note lack of apostrophe ...)
Mr. Grammar is speaking

someone here has actualy met the guys from ofrei. He even posted a pic of himself and mr. frei as far as I remember

Slay
Lange is a GREAT WATCH
but it is IMPOSSIBLE to replicate it... this movement is UNBELIEVABLE
which movement you will used for Lange replica? ETA 2836-2??? Looks total different from genuine :yucky:
but on Seahwawk it is a solid caseback, so you can´t see the wrong movement from replica version.
They can do a solid caseback or whatsoever. the Lange has no complications on the front and a 6497 would work good in that watch. The casing could probably be 1:1 and as long as the dial is 1:1 and the casing, I dont care!
As for the seahawk, I doubt Jay can do it so easily. You know why? Because it has a Power Reserve indicator. To replicate this, they would have to modify the ETA movements which I HIGHLY doubt they CAN and WILL do. As we said, NO complications and I count the power reserve indicator as a complication
btw. my 2nd choice would have been the ebel!

I found out that Bob was an IDIOT about a year ago...and immediatly stopped buying from him, reported my expreience on the old RWG and suggested that no one buy anything from him.
He's an idiot, if I lived in CA I would go over to his shop just to punch him in the face...
RG
LOL, I would probably do the same
-
this frei guy sounds like a big douche to me. I would have filed a chargeback for the movements if I was you (at least I would have threatened him)
-
how can i make the [censored] bigger?
seriously, didnt you post the exact same topic like 3 days ago and didnt you get a very good answer from MAHLER including pictures and all that?
-
Go Lange!!!
We need at least 1 good lange rep
-
I'd be interested to know the cost to manufacture these bags... likely under $25-50... someone in China is making a lot of money
repo watches cost from 8-20$ for an eta sub at a watch market in the far east (means not the factory price, the factory price will be even lower) and yet they sell for 200$ here.
-
@insane and @vmena you guy's need to understand that the bags that sash and I sell are in fact priced (in many occassions) less than 10% of original.
Take a look at sash's Chloe Paddington for instance they gen is worth over $1600
Yes you can get many generic bags or even minor branded bags for for only a couple of hundred but when you start talking about LV, Chloe, Hermes you are getting up in the thousands, what makes a leather bag worth that much..............hey what makes a Rolex worth $7,000..............brand name.
Ken
The men's bags are not priced at 10% of the original. As far as I remember they cost from 200-300$.
The real deal only costs 800 at la fayete and around 500 at an outlet store.
I paid about 120$ including shipping (was a huge parcel) for my dunhill bag from andrew and its really top quality. but 120$ was my absolute limit for that bag!
-
My suggestion would be to sort all of the mentioned watches out that could be done with either a 6497 or a 2836 / 2824 / 2892 and then put all of them up (with pictures of course) and let all the members vote.
This would be the fairest option IMO. Also I dont think they can do the power reserve thing so easy on the Seahawk, and as far as I understood this, the watch should be as easy to produce as possible.
-
There was a lottery?
Congrats, Ken.
my thoughts exactly
-
Ok, then I use the same argumentation. Lets do the PLEASE-INSERT-WATCH-OF-YOUR-CHOICE-WITHOUT-COMPLICATION, because its just the perfect candidate and fulfils most of the criteria!
-
damn, I wish they'd rep that fancy lookin bracelet, too!
-
ZZZZZZZZ. They last thing we need is another dressy watch. Have you ever noticed how many of these end up for sale because they get no wrist time?? Pateks, Glashuette, A Langes, Jaegers, etc----They are nice, but kind of boring. Besides, I don't know too many people who can pull off wearing $15,000 watches.
Why would they wanna rep watches that can be bought genuine for under 1 grand? Theres no logic behind this.
Most Replicated watches cost between 5 and 20k brand new. Or do you think the fiddy or the 1938 pams are sold at wal mart for a dime??
Whats the problem with a dress watch? Ok, its not good watch if you want to draw attention to yourself, because they barely get noticed by others (unlike an "OH-MY-HOLY-LORD-IS-THAT-BIG"-monster)
Btw. have you ever noticed how many pams end up for sale?
