  1. I can confirm that the seagul movement has sort of the same subdial spacing.

And I can also confirm, that with a bit of work, it is possible to fit the seagul movement into a DW case, but you will need to work the dremel. I can only confirm that it is probably possible to fit the diameter of the movement inside the case. Though I dont know about the thickness, cause the seagul movement is a lot thicker!

I'm temped to see a review of one of those. Nevertheles I will continue with my 6263 Vj23 project.

Did you get my PM about the vj23 hands ubi?

  2. I have a very old F-Serial Panerai 111 Replica. It was one of the first ones, with the standart ETA bridges and the PANERAI wirting upside down.

But I like the watch very very much, because it has a very nice AR coating and feels better than the newer replicas. The Crown Guard was not too acurate, but it will be replaced with a Jimmy Fu CG!

But I also want to replace the caseback, I currently have an exhibiton back, but I want a solid caseback (turn it into a 001), just because I think the watch will be a little more accurate with the solid caseback. But since the case is probably different from the 111G's and the 001G's which are being sold now, I dont know if the new caseback will even fit.

Does anyone here have a F-Serial replica? Do you have any experience with changing parts on those? Or a source where I can obtain a proper caseback?

  3. [censored]! You are not a "fatty" because you are a young active man with a metabolism to boot. Wait till you hit thirty and still have the same eating habbit look who will be a fatty then. (Yep, this is from first hand experience :( ).

but it is true that hight bloodsuggar leads to a production of a stuff that has a side effect of storing fat in your body - at least they told us this at school back then. I think my wrestling coach told me that

  4. Only in America......do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke. !

Actually there is a reason for that. The fat in the cheeseburger doesnt make you fat, its the suggar. Because a regular coke will rise your bloodsugar and your body will produce insulin to lower your bloodsuggar. This reaction has the side effect, that it leads to storrage of fat in your body.

I also eat a lot of food, steak, burgers, fries, nachos, pringles and all that kind of stuff. Still I'm not a fatty, because I dont drink 2 gallons of coke every day!

  5. holy crap man, 500$ for a replica bag? I can get a genuine Dunhill for that price at an outlet store!

I'd never spend that much on anything replica except watches. A Real LV bag cost like 1k, at an outlet store maybe 800 or 700.

I dont see the justification in paying half the amount of the gen for a rep, even if its a good rep.

  6. Jesus, why cant you just be patient? The games you can buy now totally suck anyways. And the graphics aren't better compared to the xbox360, sometimes they seemed worse. Look that up on google if you dont believe me.

Also I have heared, that you can only use Japanese Credit Cards for Japanese PS3s and you can only hook it up to a Japanese ISPs to play online.

Plus its ILLEGAL to import a PS3 into the EU without Sonys approval. Means customs will snag it as if it was a rep. And they are more likely to find a PS3 than a rep watch

  7. I need a new stem for a Molnija movement (the old ones). Should be one on which I can screw a PAM crown.

I broke mine while trying to unscrew the Molnija crown :wounded1:

What size is the stem? As far as I know I can just use any stem if its the right size, correct?

Ist must be slightly LARGER than the stem for the DW Mystery Movement and slightly SMALLER than the Unitas 6497 stem. So if anyone know the sizes of those stems, that would be a help, too!

  8. The hand resetting has nothing to do with the actual movement...

It's a common well known problem on all models, rule of thumb, get the hand glued so it wont' slip, and never, ever, reset anywhere but between 10 and 2 on the dial face as it causes too much stress on the hand when it flys back to 12.

Shouldnt be that way IMHO. I wont let my Car tell me where I can park or not either
