Well, I just trashed the insert and the bezel is now bent!! I guess I need some professional help. I'm in California, can anyone recommend someone to do the bezel installation? thanks

Thanks everyone, I'll update some pictures later. it is a 16610. The bezel set is from TC and is going on a Sean case. Nothing bent but I think it may be a bit too tight

I placed the friction washer under the spring. Even without the washer or the spring the bezel will not turn. thanks for the replies so far

Sure. I pressed down the retainer ring. Then place the click spring in place and the other ring/spacer. Everything goes in perfectly. Then I snap the bezel into the retainer ring and it goes in fine but won't turn....

Been trying to put a Franken together for the past couple days but the bezel is giving me some problems. The bezel turns smoothly outside of the case but once I install it on to the case it gets stuck and will not turn. Not sure if there's a trick or some sort of a tip to get this thing on and turning. Any help would be greatly appreciated or I may need to find someone that knows how to do it

The bay or PAneristi may be your best place. Check often, it sells fast if the price is right.

Gen movements are hard to find. I got mine directly from a watchmaker in Switzerland. YOu need the 7753 based movement. I'll see what he has.

I'm thinking this is a keeper..... unlsee of course another project sparks my interest! LOL

Well, just got her back from Vac all done and on the wrist TODAY!!! Gen strap and deployant buckle. Neds gen hour had and minute. Besides that and the case she is all GEN!!

I may....been looking for the right price though.

I've always liked the PAM88 Luminor GMT and a while ago I did a PAM 88 semi franken with a Gen dial. I still wasn't very happy with the A7750 movememnt and the ETA7754 was not a perfect fit since Panerai uses an in-house modified ETA7750 for their GMT movements. Well, I ended up finding a GEN brand new Panerai movement branded for their Ferrari watch and mt dream came true. I'll post some pics so you guys can see how it turns out. So far I got a gen movement, gen dial, gen datewheel and gen seconds hand. Pairing with a H-Factory case and we'll see what else I come up with!

No answer but I found what I needed! I think I'll try one out. I know I'll have to step up and spend some money but heck! We do it with rep watches all the time!!!

I wonder if a machine shop could mill the inside of the case. BTW, who does case engravings besides Phong?
