I have to admit that I agree with Pugwash on this one. I would imagine that the majority of people who see the humor (and the truth) in the juxaposition of the phrase and the image would be among the first to aid or otherwise defend the individual(s) depicted. Being able to joke about a disability does not preclude taking it seriously.

Just watching the river of life flow past my door... I was writing a bit, but my motivation (basically, trying to preserve my sanity in an increasingly insane world) has weakened lately.... Hi folks, I just got an email message from a long-gone member (not Klink, by the way), informing me of said forum (?) and the association of my forum nic with it: in a word, WTF? I'm not really active on any rep watch forum these days - my life has moved on both for better and for worse, but that's life...
