  1. Mommy's out shopping (joke also)
  2. Invitation only.
  3. and then????? (gotta laugh when I see all the names hanging out below, like a bunch of fish waiting for something juicy for lunch! ... )
  4. It's back up, but probably not for long: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=16...h&plindex=1
  5. Sorry, they must have taken it down pretty quickly. I did have the time to download it and watch - it's pretty good. There are copies circulating all over the Net - I wouldn't be surprised if someone re-posts it on Google vids soon....
  6. You may love him, you may hate him or you may simply not give a damn one way or another. This isn't a political discussion, just a freebie (he can afford it): Michael Moore's 'Sicko' - full-length and downloadable - on Google Video. Say 'Ahh', please: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=90...h&plindex=1
  7. A guy in my neighborhood in Paris has a Chrysler Crossfire - don't know anything about it, but it sure looks good to me....
  8. Muttsta, a nice choice for cooling your heels before crossing the Golden Gate and plunging into the weirdness of San Francisco is to stay overnight at the Marin Headlands Hostel, located in the most beautiful state park you can imagine, far, far, far from the maddening crowds, with a eucalyptus forest on one side and meadows rolling down to the rugged coast on the other. No camping that I know of, although the park is big enough to permit you to disappear over the horizon and pitch your tent if that's really want you want to do.... I'll leave you a link to the place, and check it out for yourself... there's a road that snakes above the valley and slowly rises to the most magnificent view of the Bay and the City, framed by the incredible towers of the Golden Gate. If it sounds like I'm really pushing the place, it's because it's one of my favorite spots on the entire planet. There are hostels in San Francisco, but personally, it's a city that appeals little to me - it's really a question of where you want to be - even for a night - and why you want to be there. You might be just as happy in the City, but at least there's a great alternative if you don't want to be there. Anyway, the link: http://www.norcalhostels.org/marin/ Marin Headlands is just one of a series of great places that follow the coast southward. Read more about them here: http://norcalhostels.org/ Have a good trip down there!
  9. Using Google, you might be able to find either a domestic or an overseas Chinese pharmacy which could supply you... Don't know where you're located, but I do know that there's even a traditional Chinese pharmacy in San Francisco. Here's a link to an online supplier that I found after a quick search: http://www.99tcmpharmacy.com/ Still others: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=t...amp;btnG=Search With a little patience, you might find what you need much more easily than arranging for it to be sent from China. Places like Singapore and Hong Kong (naturally) are also good bets for finding RWG members who could source it. As they say, hope this helps!
  10. Nice-looking sweetie, Slaya.... As for Abercombie, the story goes back a few years, but was apparently true: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/12/05/...ain587099.shtml
  11. I'm dreading the day it arrives in France, dubbed in....French? Anyway, Joisey is another planet - a country unto itself. Back in the days, Jackie Kennedy had an estate somewhere around Short Hills - and could 'Clerks' have been made anywhere else? It's creepy to drive around certain areas in South Jersey, knowing - as the well-informed will tell you - that 'there's a stiff under every mile' of Mafia-paved highway. Only in America, and like they say, you gotta love it, warts and all. This guy has an interesting take on the series: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19170445/
  12. Every time I wish you good cycling weather, flat roads and so on, you get tornadoes, flooding, 45-degree mountainous gravel paths.... I think I (or at least you) would do better if I just kept my mouth shut!
  13. Should be in the Paris Hilton thread?
  14. I hope the worst of it (bad weather, cold rain, high winds, steep hills) is over for you, Muttsta....or at least not as bad as before....and little by little, you're getting to California! Such a great place.... Wishing you continued success!
  15. I meant your mountain bike....
  16. For enough money, they'll mount it on your bike - and make it work!
  17. Nice transition, Zed.... Chevy short-block twin turbo by Banks Automotive - approximately 1,200 hp, street legal.
  18. Being the gentleman I am, I'll leave you the last word... Especially since you've obviously run out of anything to say!
  19. Not to worry, TT....just a little skirmish in the sandbox. After all, we are highly civilized bozos.
  20. Do you really want to go there? Whilst thinking about that, here's something else to mull over: Yeah, I still think she's hot. And yeah, I don't really give a tinker's damn about her - other than wishing her well...the same sentiments I entertain for one and all - even guys like you - the difference being that I don't spend my energy wishing Paris (or even guys like you) additional grief in life (as if there's not already enough) - and particularly based on some sort of sloppily cobbled-together sense of moral high ground. There's not a day of my life that I don't break some sort of law or rule - written, spoken or unspoken. By sympathy (better yet, by honesty, by knowing who I am, and that but for the grace of God, there go I) I'll always side with the outcasts, the outlaws, the people at the edges. Some of them are unspeakable animals, others are royalty: in the end, it's just about what you find in your world - which has always nauseated me by its hypocrisy, boredom, mediocrity and lack of imagination. Not to mention heart. So in the end....nah, it's just not worth it. Have a nice one, TTK (et.al.) and if ever you want to wash some clown-suits in public, just let me know. There's still a lot of laundry waiting to be done.
  21. Yawn and double-yawn. By the way, you just did. And to tell you the truth, I don't give a tinker's damn about Paris Hilton. But there are limits to the Moonbat ravings that I can tolerate before feeling the need to vomit up a few lines of my own.
  22. Well, that makes two of us, podner....
  23. It would be great if some of you armchair jurists and wannabe Supreme Court Justices would just do a little further reading into the situation as it exists in L.A. County: "I, too, started to feel aggrieved. Yeah! Make her wear orange! Make her eat carbs! Take away her Blackberry! But it turns out in the L.A. County jail system these days, non-violent offenders serve only about 10% of their sentences because of over-crowding. Lots of people convicted of crimes like Hilton's, driving without a license, serve all time from home to leave room for the murderers and rapists. If anything, Hilton has probably served more time than she would have if she were a nobody." http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1631258,00.html The truth is, you need someone like Paris Hilton to give you a feeling that you exist: that your opinion counts for something, that your feelings matter - that your lives are just as good or better than someone touched by privilege, wealth - and a fair amount of the intelligence needed to milk suckers like you for the attention necessary to maintain that same privilege and wealth. In the end, love her or hate her, Paris Hilton couldn't exist wihout your help - meaning the importance you seem to accord to her, which is probably in direct proportion to your own sense of insignificance. Keep it up, gang - keep on giving - it's as good as gold!
  24. Blah, blah, blah & ad infinitum. Bottom line is, every time you purchase a replica watch, you're breaking the law. You may not like the law, you may say that 'watches don't kill people' (mendacious logic) you may not give a flying fuc* about being morally coherent or the ultimatate consequences of your actions - but you're breaking the law just the same. But that's ok, 'cause you're you. It must be great being so special.
  25. Suck it up, boys. Or are you somehow more special than Paris?
