  1. Yo, Slaya! When did they let you out? Thought Homeland Security had shipped you to Gitmo for good Cartman

Coming right up, Gunnar! You want a glass of water with that?

But I always did have a strange sense of humor.

Quite agree with you on every point, my friend. But put yourself in my place: summer holiday, and I find myself in this hole! Thousands of kilometres from the beach, they've burnt down my hotel and my Arabic teacher is hanging from a branch. Outdoor art classes have been cancelled, there's nothing to eat and I barely have any crayons to sketch the local color. Don't seem to be getting much joy here. I think it's time to either wind up the old happiness clock or change travel agents. Perhaps both. In the meantime, I'll work on getting those horses better. What do you think of those camel-mounted 106mm Recoilless rifles though?

  6. When I connect the dots I get something that vaguely resembles George Bush. Just one line, though. Could that be right?
  7. Both Andrew and Josh are me, you fools. And it doesn't stop there, either.... (ryyannon skulks back to his padded accomodations in The Shortest Thread Ever)
  8. You done done it, dude! Egads, a mind even more devious and warped than mine! Of course, I made it all up. The 'rotten apple' is, of course, your's truly! Hey, do I have a reputation to uphold around here, or not?

I would have a tendancy to believe that some of them are worse than what we see, while praying that in reality, they are much better.... Out of curiosity - and other than being a specialist in a given field - how would you go about verifying the 'accuracy' of those stats?
  10. Now that's a perfect example of thinking outside the 'box'! It's certainly a great answer, but unfortunately not to the specific task-oriented question as it is posed.... I wonder what Nanuq's take on this would be - if he's not too occupied with Miss Understood's...um...ride?
  11. Well, they were certainly not expecting people of our intellectual calibre to respond. Now here's one for you Mensa-types: if you can find the solution to this most difficult of puzzles (just the answer and not even the reason) in under fifteen minutes, you are positively Einsteinian: less than one-thousandth of one-percent of all those who try succeed. (Oops, I nearly forgot the question here): Which one square/configuration is totally erroneous when compared with any sequence (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) of nine successive other squares? Just one rotten apple, so to speak.... I've explained it in my usual imprecise way, but good luck just the same: I know some of you guys can do it! (Like I said, first one to find the answer in under fifteen minutes - or ever - is a freaking genius).
  12. Do you mind if we post links? Actually, I think I've found the magic button that will turn off this thread forever! http://www.quizland.com/howto.mv
  13. = .... . ... .... === .=. = . ... = = .... .=. . = =.. . ...= . .=.
  14. You know, that endless idiotic thread - the only place that ryyannon could find anything to say about anything. I think it finally died. Bird flu or something like that....
  15. Well thanks for listening - and all the effort you put into this site
  16. Rebooted just to see, but no joy...sentences still bleeeeeeeeeeeeed way over to the right....
  17. No, I've since changed everything: using a Dell portable with XP and the latest IE version... Another anomaly: not all the threads center in the same way: in some, I can scroll over to the right from the very start and still see all of the post as I read down from one to the next. But don't sweat it: if I'm the only one with this problem, the problem must be me - so to speak. Let's see if there's any similar feedback....
  18. misplaced and deleted post something must have distracted me...
  19. It certainly has bin a while...
  20. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing the same, but when I try to read any of the threads, the page no longer centers - it has to be manually scrolled to the right in order to display the right margin and the end of lines. In other words, the page no longer fits on the screen. Update/note: it does center in the 'low-fi' version, but of course, everything else looks awful....
  21. Nice c*ck-shot, just the same.
  22. I was just thinking the other day.... Does anyone remember The Shortest Thread Ever?
  23. Be kind to your fine feathered friends, For a duck may be somebody's mother....
  24. Thank God it's over.
