  1. That's funny: all of a sudden I don't want to post here anymore.... (DELETED)
  2. I can get in, but I can't post.
  3. Not at all, Pug.... There's a good discussion going on there....consensus is pretty much like here.
  4. Yes, the movement and lume on the B&R was certainly an improvement....
  5. I see Josh is in 'da house....
  6. Since I've chosen to play the Devil's Advocate, I might as well continue: Concerning the Cartel: when some of the smaller dealers complain of the 'big dealers' buying up the movements or otherwise monopolizing the stock, could they be referring to the big scam-site dealers? The dealers here who sell the same (or better) pieces for a fourth or a fifth less than Replika Haus etc. must constitute a real threat - particularly given the traffic this site is generating. If I were in their place, I'd look to knock our dealers out of the picture - or at least make it a lot tougher to access product. Are some of 'our' dealers doing the same? Or is it blowback from dealers outside of the forum?
  7. The real shame seems to be the cheap quality of the movement. I'm ready to believe that Andrew acted in good faith - which is what he seems to be trying to say here - but if dealers are passing along cheap movements as premium ones - even in good faith - I'd say we've all got a problem. So where is it? Is it the fault of the 'Makers' passing off junk to the dealers and touting it as premium? Does Andrew really know what's going into these watches? Are they (the 'Makers') doing a bait & switch somewhere between description of what's inside and delivery? Do we owe Andrew the benefit of the doubt - if not an apology? Or should Andrew 'fess-up and admit that he was totally asleep on his...watch - until it became too late to avoid this collision with reality?
  8. I'll have to agree with Usil on this: We would welcome an open discussion from the dealers here - just as many of us would want to continue doing business with those called into question... depending on their responses: it all comes down to what Usil as termed 'an honest relationship', setting the record straight, clearing the air and getting back to doing what we love to do. Well said, Usil. I think the ball is in the aformentioned dealers' camp. I wonder if anyone's home this time...
  9. Brought to you by some of the worst directing, acting and special effects the world has ever seen.

  11. C-stone: It's true that I'm not very good at poetry. Does this read better:? Proud and strong We resist all temptation To make this thread more long - just like my dong...

  24. What Neil said, but with much, much less enthusiasm.* For those who want to see it in streaming video: Part 1: http://files.filefront.com/6996141 Part 2: http://files.filefront.com/6996843 *Yes for the principles and ideals - who could argue - but a big 'no' to all the rest - perhaps with the exception of the Queen's speech in front of the Spartan Council. Not wanting to [censored] on anyone's parade, but as a film, it just didn't work for me. Too many reasons to go into, but hey, if you liked it, that's fine! It's all good....
