1. The Patek 5726a shown above with a strap is selling for $390 shipped.

2. They only accept Western Union cash pick up to a 'YU MATSUMOTO'

3. They will send QC photos AFTER funds have posted.

4. They only ship 2x per week with the next shipment going tomorrow, Thursday.

5. They will use DHL with tracking.

6. They offer a 6 day return/refund policy.

7. They have not provided references after 2 email requests.

8. They have not accepted my request to follow on Instagram.

9. The photos they sent me are the exact same posted above from Polo.

10. They claim the day, date and month complications all work.  No faux functions.

This is what I know based upon 6 emails exchanged since last night.

Summary:

I am enthusiastic about the photos, but something seems off here. Maybe it is the cash only, maybe it is the photos...I don't know.

I will need more to go on, a reference perhaps, to move forward with a purchase. I can't shake the feeling this is cash scam of some sort.

I could be wholly wrong, but this is my opinion today.

I welcome any additional clarity or advice.

I have the same one on PAM 089 right now.  Great strap and very comfortable.  This looks great on your B&M too.  A bit of edge to a conservative piece.

I would need to see one of these appear at a TD before I made a purchase.  The decorated bridge is incredible for a $400 PP.  I would also like to see if the day/date modules are faux.  IF this is a legit piece out of Noob, it will be the absolute best in class yet vs. the others currently available.  This would be ultra-super rep territory.

This is quite interesting and would be a first 5726 AND decorated plate.  I would like more information.

My v7 with the bracelet just arrived from Toro. It is very, very well done. It is much heavier than I expected coming from the FC version I just sold to a member here. One small issue not related to the quality is the somewhat limited bracelet sizing options. I took out 2 links and it was a tad loose to my liking. Meaning I could put my pointer finger through the gap too easily. I then took off a 3rd link and now it's a smidge tight. That is how I am wearing it now. There is no micro adjustment option so I'll have to figure out what is best. I think I will go back and add +1 one link to the '6' side. It might make the difference.

Good thing I bought the rubber strap and buckle too!

In summary, a remarkable piece for the price. Definitely one to put on the 'must own' list even if for a short while.

Looks decent for the price. Can your lady pull off a watch of this caliber? A $31k watch?

Personally, I think the model with the white rubber strap will wear better and you'll have less gold plating to worry about.

I just ordered from Andrew. See my post under 'Other brands' referring to the Patek Nautilus Chrono. He sent a product with case screws that had the heads stripped. He has offered to replace this model with a new one. Note, this is my first bad experience in several years and thousands in purchases.

I just ordered one from toro. If I do not like it I will ping you. It is a v7 with a bracelet and I ordered the rubber strap with connector links.

It just arrived from Andrew at Trusty today. The 4 case screw heads are stripped as if they were over tightened with a too small screwdriver. Just awful. I had to send Andrew at note back asking for a new model or 4 new screws. And the case is scratched. I'm disappointed and waiting to hear back from Andrew.

I know the Tissot Powermatic 80 from Tissot SeaStar 1000 will drop into an AP Diver for an easy upgrade. I believe that is documented here in a few threads.

I also see Certina offers a Powermatic 80 movement in a few of their watches.

Will the Certina Powermatic 80 movement, which I believe is the same as the Tissot except for the rotor decoration, work in the AP Diver upgrade application?

I ask as I think it is more economical to find and cannibalize a Certina vs a Tissot by about $200.

And one last, perhaps, simple question.

If the Powermatic movements are the same in both watches, does it matter that the date wheel is at 6 in Certina vs. 3 in the Tissot? I imagine it does not matter since the watch smith will swap date wheels with the AP.

Please let me know your insight on this matter.
