Having been away from the board for almost a year
I'm enjoying catching up on the news and who's buying what watches and what mods are being taken on.
What's surprised me is the improvement with the ceramic bezels on the GMT IIc, DSSD etc. When I left, these were not looking great.
The watch that I'm learning all about now is the DSSD. A watch that when I saw the first official pictures, I was not impressed, but like many members, I like the larger watches (i.e. PAM 111h got me started on this).
My day to day watch is an SSD, which I got from PT - This is a great watch, looks good, feels solid and (very useful) accurate!
I would be grateful to hear from any members who have experience of the v4 DSSD from PT. Having experienced the SSD I don't want to go backwards in terms of build quality.
Many thanks to all who have gone to the trouble of writing some great reviews. Once I have made the leap and got the DSSD, I will try to come up with an original approach to reviewing/photographing my new purchase.
It's good to back ,
