ah i see. but if you want the bracelet, they will see the insignia, and if you send the head, they'll see the dial.

are you sure artisan plating will plate a rep?

but the dial is wrong, compared to the caseback and clasp. it has the regular clasp and caseback. i opened it and it looked like it had a gen ETA 2836-2. i saw markings, but not sure the model. it looked like 2836-2. i saw the ETA insignia too. im wondering where i can get the wave dial and datewheel since this one is wrong (so maybe not a real eta?) and if i can take the hands off using ordinary tweezers? thanks.

looks real.. either that or a really good one.

some quartz chronos have sweep second hands. take some seikos for example. but dont know about subdial spacing and etc.

wow that is really weird. mine is 6 inches exactly yet my rep datejust fits perfect. i have 2 extra links on mine and it's set on the 4th hole. weird.

i have a 6 inch wrist also, but my old dj rep fit me. i had 2 extra links on it, and set to the 4th hole from the outside. it was pretty tight too.

if only you could take the best of both and combine both to make the..... NIPMARINER!

ah, i actually had a rep of this as my very first rep. i loved it, it kept good time, but the flaw was that it was too new (markers being pure white) and the crystal being mineral, and pretty much it looked brand new. got it in vietnam. loved it until the rotor literally unscrewed and fell off.

of waiting for a model to come in stock! right now i'm waiting for WBK to stock more asian SMPs. i wonder what the quality is like.
