  1. Thanks ... will ask River. Am still sooo tempted by the Francois Rotier.....the re-seller has offered Euro 840 including shipping. Damn....it's so difficult to decide.
  2. I have a Chrono Titanium Ingeniuer for sale in the trade section. You may want to have a look. Cheers
  3. Good point Perry....makes life easier. So the JLC is out of contention. Doesn't leave me any wiser though....the dilemma continues....
  4. Just realized that I have hit a century with my posts ... yippiieeee.... :-)
  5. Thanks Corgi. I love Homer's watches and am seriously considering getting a RG with white face ....alternative is to get a JLC from Angus. It's just that I love big watches....44mm+ and thought this was a big watch. Do you any experience with River's Fiber Radiomir Tourby?...that goes for $599 as well with 2 yr warranty

I corresponded with the company selling this watch and they will waive off 19% VAT as it'll be shipped international. the website of the company is www.timeshop24.de Thanks Omni. 7. How is the AR on this watch? Is there a loud rotor sound? Also, does it come numbered as a limited edition....as there are only 1906 watches made like this.
  8. Am looking at getting myself a nice tourbillon. Options are Homer's unbranded toubys, Angus's JLC and River's Radiomir Fiber Touby. Came across this watch from Germany....selling for Euro 999 (including 19% VAT and shipping). If selling international....would VAT still be applicable?. Any members have experience with this? Specs (in German....someone pls help translate) Modell Name.: Monarch Tourbillon Regulateur (XL Geh
  9. Thanks...would really be nice to see how big it is compared to other 40mm watches. Am soooo tempted to get one .....thinking of rose gold with white face....and probably get a nice alligator/ostrich custom job with it.
  10. Hi Alant...no luck as yet trying to get the reps repaired/serviced in S'pore.
  11. Finally.....made the payment to upgrade my account. Been thinking about doing this for long....somehow never got around to doing it. Over the last year or so that I have been active on this forum....I have learnt a lot. Prior to joining this forum...i was happily buying cheap Korean knock-offs....didn't know what a 7750 or a ETA was, didn't know what AR was etc. I feel a lot better having upgraded my membership.....feels good to give back when I have gained an enourmous amount of knowledge (and over 40 reps along the way). Cheers and God bless!
  12. Just made the payment to upgrade my account. Am so chuffed!
  13. Co-incidence. I sent a mail to Admin just this morning asking instructions on how to upgrade my account. I think it is fair to pay for using this forum. Am still awaiting instructions on how to upgrade....someone pls help.
  14. See this thread for some pics of the Graham Diver that I have put up: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=74860
  15. Thankfully the lever is perfect...not wobbly at all (like was in ver 1.0) & the chrono start/re-set works fine
  16. Am thinking of changing the rubber strap with a nice alligator strap. Anyone know the strap size for this watch?
  17. Hey Italiano...the bezel is pretty good....not wobbly @ all and rotates clock-wise. Best thing is that the lever is not wobbly. Will try taking some pics now
  18. You are right...the watch doesn't look like 46mm because of raised bezel. However, the bottle opener attached to the watch more than compensates for it :p . Looks fairly big and chunky and is pretty heavy. Will post better pics later tonight.
  19. Got mine from Josh just now. Have to say....the quality is most amazing. The AR is pretty good and the second hand movement is smooth. Also, having owned a Graham Chronofighter earlier...amd glad that the lever is not wobbly and works well. The chrono works fine and resets properly aligned to 12. The watch is really heavy and feels nice around the wrist. Am posting some pics taken from my phone....will post better pics tonight. Enjoy.
  20. I have one en-route for my wife. Should be with me by Thursday. Will post pics and let you know of the quality.
