<<All due respect to our resident AR, Lume, modding etc. experts.>> Kinda surprising when you think that 99.9% of all the reps are coming out of Asia (China, Thailand, Korea etc.)....and yet, there is not a single AR/Lume/Mod expert based out of Asia. Reason am putting this up is that it is kinda expensive to send waches to Europe/US to get these mods done. Wondering if there are any known experts located anywhere in Asia. Cheers

Was thinking of getting the white steel bezel with gray sub dials with a rubber strap. Don't much like the look of the rubber bezel. Does a gen exist with steel bezel and rubber strap?...or is it only with rubber bezel and rubber strap? Cheers

Damn....that's a shame. Just when you think they have got it all sorted out....they screw up somewhere else. Oh well.....guess will get one and then get one of our resident experts to work their lume magic on it.

Love your PVD skeleton. I did contact Touby for movement/watch.....he says he is completely sold out/ choco-block.....not taking any orders for a few months. He has a skeleton watch available that costs upwards of 3500 euros. So how now?

Forget all supplements.....get yourself an AP ROO......guaranteed will build awesome biceps in a couple of weeks

I think the sales of AP ROO haven't been as encouraging as the dealers/rep factory had hoped for it to be. It's all the nagging tiny flaws in the watch that everyone has been discussing and the general consensus to wait for the V2........I think the dealers finally leaned on the rep factory to make the change and recoupe their investment and make moolah. Overall....I think if a mojority of rep collectors decide not to buy a watch unless it is fixed (assuming the fix is easy enuff)....we will eventually see the factories coming up with corrected versions. Hooray for consumer power..... :-) p.s. might be a good idea for dealers to send a few samples of the first run to select memebers ....discuss it here....fix the small issues...and then go into production run....win win sitch. Cheers

Ok guys.....here's the story. Got the watch....had it with me for less than 5 hours and it was back on it's way from where it came. Reason.....the wife didn't approve of it. According to her...it was a nice watch....but somehow just didn't suit me. Sad as I was....my options were....keep the watch and sleep on the couch or return it an live to fight another day. Managed to take some quick pics from my phone (quality sucks):

Thanks Guys. Not sure if Sony comes with any s/w to control the camera from the computer. Have to admit this is a nice thing....though a $10 remote shutter drepesser for the camera might do the same trick. I have to get myself a DSLR soon. I already have a 28 - "80" and a 100-300 lens as well. This is Minolta......so should fit onto Sony nicely....hence the reason for considering Sony Alpha. p.s. every time i write "80" it shows it as a smiley :-)

Agree with you on this Dani.....plus am still coming to terms with the concept of using a piece of rubber costing $10 for bezel on a rep of a watch costing $20K.

The wife shot down AP ROO.....says I'd be better off using dumbbells in the gym. So have ordered a Graham PVD for now. Lesson learnt.....it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission..... Guess will wait for the RG version to come out and then ask for her forgiveness

Lani...its there on Josh's site. Rubber bezel with steel bracelet. Click on the "What's New" arrow at the right bottom of the page and you should be able to see it. Josh says rubber replacement straps will probably be available 2 months down the line. Cheers

Amazing stuff Pug....work of art. Can you please share on how do you connect your DSLR to your PC....what specific h/w and s/w do you use.....and is it specific to the camera brand? Am still on analog SLR......planning on getting myself a nice DSLR....am considering the Sony Alpha 350. Any comments on that model? Cheers

Heard from Josh....the spare rubber strap will be available in about 2 months time. Guess it's SS till then. Am inclined to go for the Steel bezel one....if required...can buy a rubber bezel later on. Am not really sure about the quality of the rubber on this.

Mate....good luck finding those 4 watches @ about $1K....you are loking more in the $1300-$1500 range. I have just ordered 3 watches from Josh myself in one order....but they will be shipped separately to mitigate the risk.
