King has confirmed that apparently this has been made using a gen and will be available from July 10th onwards.

Thanks guys. I am ok to pay 890 (actually will be 721 euros...as there will be no 19% VAT for sale to Singapore). What I really wanted to know was....is this good value for money? Don't think there are too many good looking skeleton reps around which will last a while. Actually, its a toss up between a Francois Rotier Tourbillon (chinese tourby....I had posted about this some time back) and this watch. I like the fact that it's a big watch @ 47mm and the movement looks decent....plus only 20 made. Decisions...decisions.....need a smoke break :-)

Good point Lani. Am still undecided if I should go for a blue...you are right...have too many black and white dials. The problem is....blue has fairly limited usage....can probably wear it with denims and a shirt....but with formal attire....am not too sure....have never worn it myself. decisions....decisions....decisions....

Mate...30 yrs down the line....you could perhaps still put in a new compatible movement and sell the super rep of today for a bomb....as most likely they wouldn't be available anymore. :-). Personally...i'd be happy if the watches last 3 yrs +

There was a Chopard Advert. today for this watch on the front page of the Straits Times (largest daily in Singapore).....so decided to wear it to work. Had a lot of people ask me about the watch. Met someone who was wearing a gen PAM....this person is a sort of collector.....he was blown away with the quality of the watch. Funny thing...he wouldn't believe that it was a rep.....only when I offered to sell it to him for $1K did he agree :-) Excellent buid quality ... love the 3D look of the dial.

I must have this watch.....will send it to Josh to have reps made from this gen......
