Crownartcustoms mk3 insert is the final detail...

If we buy a complete Ruby case, what is the need for an Athaya 702 crown?  What version of the crown comes on Ruby case and what are the advantages disadvantages?  I know the Athaya 702 looks incredible but the clutch springs in crowns are weak.  Plus, if the Ruby crown is 703 or 704, it will be more water proof than the Athaya 702.  I'm about to order a Ruby case so I really would like to please know.  

Old post.. But I consider the best option to be Tissot Powermatic 80 and similar higher-spec from Hamilton V07.611. Its a 21,6kbph 80h PR 2824-2.

Remove the date complication, adapt keyless/stem to single-hack. Drill holes for gen spec dial without issues.. correct stem height.

Where does one buy this case jkf?

Base watch is JKF sold as Great White.
Reshaped the crowngards, opend the Lugholes a bit.
Installed a gen Tropic 39, gen Inlay, Tube and Crown
Changed the Caseback to Redletter one.
Changed the movement to Eta 2846
Installed a Dateoverlay
Changed the Dial to an old spare MBW Redletter relumed by me.
Installed ETA Hands
Aftermarket 580 Endlinks
JKF 93150 Bracelet with gen Clasp

If you are serious, go to www.urdelar.se and sell him the whole lot. He is a very serious watch smith with a known website. I know him personally. He will most likely ask you to ship first, which I suggest you to do. If it is as you claim... You both will profit from this.

Thanks AGoat, that’s the whole idea. To have vintage pieces I can use and not worry about the movements.

Slays fat fonts are good (his hands are amazing!) but I compared it to serveral Kissing40s50s IRL and unfortunately it doesnt trick a trained eye...

but crownartscustoms... oh boy. Can diff them from gen.
