I'm guessing that I'm not the only one drooling over this beautiful creation. I'm aware of several threads where this has been discussed. However, I haven't found any attempts at recreating a similar watch by anyone here.

I'm thankful for any interesting input. If something is way wrong. If different parts aren't compatible [at all...]. Or if you have any of the parts I'm planning on using.
All the best,

Since it seems to be the recurring "flaw" with it, I was wondering if anyone has tried reluming it and who carried out the work. I'm quite interested in getting one, but it would be nice knowing that the lume can be fixed if it would turn out to be a big OCD-problem.
Thanks,
Valentin

That has to be one of the top 3 builds I've ever laid my eyes on. Congratulations!

I was informed that I has misinterpreted the price, I misread the deposit and thought that it was the final price. It seemed a bit odd that he would do all that work for just 100 USD, but well..
Sorry that I hi-jacked the thread, not my intention, but I must pass. I bit out of my league currently.
Kind regards,

Consider it sold!! Exactly what I (didn't know I) was searching for (since I was obsessing about which Big Crown-homage to choose, not being able to finalize my choice due to them all being flawed someway or another)... This seems like a pretty super-sweet deal!
As long as we can arrange for it to be sent to Sweden (on my risk of course).
Kind regards,
V
I hope this rant doesn't make me look bad....

I want to chime in here too. There are a lot of keyboard talibans, just wrecking havok and trying to compensate for their crappy self-esteem on so called "fellow" board members.
It's sad.
I'm not foreign to the gym either, but in real life I think most people would find me very humble. Which might seem contradictory. 190 cms, 110 kgs, and a whole lot of facial hair. But maybe that's back to the key element. It's easy to be a jerk, especially if writing from their parents basement. It's much harder to have tolerance, understanding and try to help those around.
The funny thing, if someone would even dare talk to me in the tone that I several times have stumbled upon. I would just laugh. If that person would continue it could turn ugly. That has happened once in my life. Once. But he was pretty coked up. Returning to the subject, very few people would treat another person like that in real life. Hiding behind a keyboard. A whole different story.
It's laughable, tragic, sad, whatever. The smallest dogs bark the most. However, when they don't stop or the "owner" allows it, it's best just to walk away.
Most forums except for here and homage forum is "read-only". Why even bother.
Thanks for a fantastic forum btw!
