    Dog for sale

Well if the one on the left can cuddle up to that monster on the right I wont be saying anything bad about her. Ken
  5. I suppose that most of this can be used internationally. A corporate attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company: 1. Next time you order cheques, have only your initials (instead of your first name) and last name put on them. If someone takes your chequebook, they will not know if you sign your cheques with just your initials or your first name, but your bank will know how you sign your cheques. 2. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put "PHOTO ID REQUIRED". 3. When you are writing cheques to pay on your credit card accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the "For" line. Instead, just put the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the number, and anyone who might be handling your cheque as it passes through all the cheque processing channels won't have access to it. 4. Put your work phone number on your cheques instead of your home phone. If you have a PO Box, use that instead of your home address. If you do not have a PO Box, use your work address. Never have your Centrelink Number printed on your cheques. You can add it if it is necessary, but if you have it printed, anyone can get it. 5. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both sides of each licence, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. I also carry a photocopy of my passport when travelling either here or abroad. We've all heard horror stories about fraud that's committed on us in stealing a name, address, Social Security number, credit cards. Unfortunately I, an attorney, have first-hand knowledge because my wallet was stolen last month. Within a week, the thieves ordered an expensive monthly mobile phone package, applied for a VISA credit card, had a credit line approved to buy a Dell computer, received a PIN number from DMV to change my driving record information on-line, and more. But here's some critical information to limit the damage in case this happens to you or someone you know: 1. We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately, but the key is having the toll free numbers and your card numbers handy so you know whom to call. Keep those where you can find them 2. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit providers you were diligent, and this is a first step toward an investigation (if there ever is one). 3. But here's what is perhaps most important of all: (I never even thought to do this.) Call the three national credit reporting organisations immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and Social Security number. I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that called to tell me an application for credit was made over the Internet in my name. The alert means any company that checks your credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by phone to authorise new credit. By the time I was advised to do this, almost two weeks after the theft, all the damage had been done. There are records of all the credit checks initiated by the thieves' purchases, none of which I knew about before placing the alert Since then, no additional damage has been done, and the thieves threw my wallet away. This weekend someone handed it in. It seems to have stopped them dead in their tracks. Now, here are some numbers which you might need to contact if your wallet etc has been stolen: 1. Visa Card Australia 1800 621 199 2. Visa Card International 1800 450 346 3. Lost Travellers' Cheques 1800 127 477 4. MasterCard Australia (02) 9466 3700 5. MasterCard International 1800 120 113 6. 8. New thread going up later today or tomorrow for those that want to commit and will have ring size details, once it hit's 50 then everyone will need to forward their first $25. I will list 5 reserves (so 55 all up) to fill places of any who want to drop out. Ken PS yes payment will be by Paypal, there wont be any problems here as this has nothing to do with replica goods.
  9. Rob The fact that we could reach out and touch your life in such a positive way has been a character building project for the entire community. RWG was always a great family and through this benefit we have been allow to shine at our best. Give that sweet girl of yours a kiss from all her Uncles and Aunts at RWG. God Bless Ken
  10. Ok she's in GD (for as long as my fellow mods leave it there. ) I must admit that it is a strange concept for me when people don't just hit 'View new Posts' and see everything since they were here last. Ken
  11. Dave123 has stated he will bid at the end of the auction, if you bring the end forward you will need to alert him. Ken
  12. Ok so lets have a run down on this should we have Teejays version or something like Bloodstone and red lettering or Jade and green lettering etc? Ken
  13. Great idea's Pho, I think it's fair to say we all like Teejays design. But before I can put up the sign on thread we need to agree on the stone and the colour of the lettering. Ken
  14. Corgi thats not funny. I have done the hard yards on this not only to find a way to raise funds for the board but to give the members something to identify each other for as cheap as possible. I have literally been chasing this for Months i have tried every possible variation of Titanium, Tungsten, Stainless Steel until I have realised it has to be Sterling Sliver and now I bring it to the board it is not only going to fall flat but the members wont tell me why....or what they want to make it work. Ken
  15. Very good Teejay and I should add that the person who's design is used will get their ring at cost (ie; $25), however I just got out of bed and came to check this thread to find there has not been one more interested party for this ring.....I don't think we are going to make it. A pity really we have just had such an exceptional outpouring from the members to raise money for one of our Brothers in need, but come up with an idea to raise funds for the board no matter how cheap and we're on our own. Ken

  17. I don't need a piece of rock to keep me calm, inner peace comes from this big red ban button on my keyboard. Ken
  18. Ah maybe it's my eyes but that still looks black to me. Ken
  19. Tigers eye they have, I will need to check my Emails and see someof the suggestions they offered me. Ken
  20. You know I thought this would be a very popular idea but I now find I am questioning the validity of the project. So far we have had just over 1000 members sign in today and we are still short of the half way mark and thats only expressions of interest. In the spirit of friendship between the boards after the successful launch here I was going to offer the same thing as a fund raiser to the Admins of the other boards too, it would be a pity if we failed to get to the target only to see others do so. Ken
  21. Um thanks Andy but may I draw your attention to the list in the first post of this thread Ken
  22. Well actually I would prefer that it wasn't me as although us Aussies like to think we are the center of the universe someone in the States would be in a far better position for cheap postage to the buyers. Ken
  23. Ok news just in from the factory, yes they do indeed have many different types of stones that we could use instead of the Black onyx however we need to come to an agreement on what colour stone as it wont be a case of everyone gets to pick their own colour. They tell me they usually do ring sizes by the American standard, they are however happy to use European sizings or any other but they state we need to decide which sizings we want to work from as they don't want to be using more than one type. Designs other than letters is fine but as I stated before the letters RWG is who we are. Ken
  24. Blown away.......what an incredible gesture. ken
