Hi, I don't know if Tony read my post, or a member talked with him about my problem. The thing is, today, a few minutes ago, I received an answer from Tony. He was agree to respect his word and also accepted all the proof I sent about the shipping. He will give me a credit of 50% of the watch. Thanks to everybody and thanks to RWG to exist.

Shipping with tracking number to China cost around $55 here in Canada and I didn't want to spend more money. Well I think I learned a lesson by the hard way. Never again I will leave Andrew. I have the post office invoice. I sent it to him, for third time, two days ago, and I'm still waiting an answer. All this situation is not my fault, or maybe it is for changing my usual dealer. When I paid for something I expect to receive a flawless item. I know it's part of the hobby. I have all the proofs the watch presented issues and it was sent to him. The big point here is the bad customer service. I have problems before with some watches bought from Andrew and he always gave me excellent customer service. Once I received a dead watch and he sent me immediatly a replacement (he didn't wait to receive the dead one). It's 100% shure I will not buy from him anymore; neither my brothers and friends. I'm waiting his final answer to create a full detailed topic about my problem. For now AVOID THIS DEALER. It is true he is selling watches $30 less than regular dealers, but if you have issues like me, you will lose all your money.

Thanks to all by your suggestions. I paid $404 for the watch. I choose to send the watch by regular airmail because I had never had issues with this shipping method before (I sent 4 watches to Andrew and he always received them) and also is 5 times less expensive, and the dealer was not agree to refund me the money for shipping. The problem is this is the second time I have issues with him. I had another watch returned to him (he received it) and after discusing a lot, he was able to change it by other model. He sent it but to a wrong address and the watch was returned to him (1 month waiting). On december 7th he sent it again and I'm still waiting to get it. At this point I don't know what to think. Bad luck??!! I don't understand why he didn't follow his own rules. Now he's risking his reputation and losing customer (me, my brothers, my friends and some RWG members).

I was thinking to tell them I bought the watch thinking it was a gen. But I don't know. I'm very upset and maybe I 'm not thinking clearly.

Hi, in august 2009 I bougth a watch from a dealer not listed on RWG trusted dealers, but he has been recommended by several members. I paid him by Paypal. The sale was very good: he sent me pictures of the watch and he answered all my questions. Until then was all perfect. My hell started when I received the watch. The watch presented a jerkiness in the seconds subdial at 3". I sent the watch to The Zigmeister to service it in order to solve the issue. The Zigmeister told me the watch was impossible to service. I decided to contact the dealer to send the watch back to him. I asked him about his return back policy and what happen when if the watch would be lost in the trip; he stated he will assume 50% of the lost in this situation. I sent him a video showing the issue. I sent the watch to him on november 10th by regular airmail (without tracking number), item declared like a gift with a value of $20. Since today, he didn't receive the watch. I talked with the post office (4 times) and they told me China customs maybe retained the parcel. I was trying to solve this issue with the dealer for the last 2 weeks and he hasn't been helpful. He changed his own rules and he refuse to assume the 50% of the lost. I sent him the invoice of the post office like a proof of the parcel, but he still refuse to give me anything! In addition, he answered my emails with a delay of days. At this point I'm very frustrated with all this situation. Today I decided to go with more radical measures and I want to initiate a Paypal dispute to recover my money. Before to go ahead with this, I want to know your suggestions please. Is it worth to go ahead? thanks

this watch will be my first AP. The only thing I'm worried is about the movement; is it a reliable movement? is it worth to spend $500? if I service the watch (The Zigmeister's service) will the watch be fine? thanks

I bought it from Tony (asian7750). I don't think it is matter from who you buy it (same factory). I was the first one to send this model to The Zigmeister (he told he had never opened this model before). Here are The Zigmeister's comments: "This is a terrible watch that is not designed correctly, and is going to have many problems. When I first opened it I noticed that the hands were touching each other, which is not normal. The reason the hands were touching each other is that there is no space between the dial and the crystal for the hands. The watch was previously worked on by someone, the caseback was installed upside down, and there were finger prints inside the movement. I am going to put the hands and dial back on, and close the watch up and do no more work on it. If there are problems with the watch they will not be my responsibility due to it being worked on before I got it, and the design problems." I had planned to create a topic about this crappy watch but I didn't have the time. Please, stay away and avoid this model. It's a waste of money.

Pedro don't buy this watch!!! I have the regular edition and I sent it to The Zigmeister 1 month ago to do a service on it. The Zigmeister told me he wasn't able to service the watch. The watch has a bad construction and a lot of problems. The watch will die soon due its bad construction. STAY AWAY of this model!!

Hi, I have had some problems to get a bezel and insert bezel for my SMP chrono (old version) and SMP chrono new black version. I contacted some dealers but they refused to sell these parts. Please, do you know here can I get these parts? thanks

Hi, to be honest, before to see this post I really hated Ulysses Nardin rep watches. They have a lot of colors and the design was not my kind of taste. Until now. The pictures are awesome and the design of the watch is beautiful. Simple and not overcharged like other Ulysses models. Roman numbers in the dial give the watch a classy look combined with casual look given by the strap. I don't see major differences with the gen: I just love it. And I love it more when I saw its price. This will be my next buy in october. It will be the very first "cheap" rep I will buy. Tony from Asia7750 will be my man (I have bought my last 3 watches from him and the service has been excellent). Thanks ebzen02 to share you discovery with us. I would hope factories will release the leather strap, but for the price of the watch, would be to much wish (if someone knows a similar leather strap to put on it, could you be able to share the info please?) Yes sir. I will have it in 2 colors. I don't think factories will release a new version in the medium term (2 years). I prefer to have the watch now and if a new version is available in the next years, I will buy it instead of service the Grand Carreras I have now.

hmmm... I didn't think nobody had purchased yet the watch. But all is possible. I really don't understand why this watch isn't so popular. Same thing, in less degree, for the black version of the watch. It is the only watch of my collection that I have received so many compliments of my friends and people at work. Hi, I'm new in Rolex watches. I was seduced by the new released Pro Hunter Submariner PVD Ceramic Bezel saw at Trusty website. He is offering the watch in to versions: Swiss ETA 2836 and Asia 2813. The difference in price is significant. I only have A7750 watches and I don't have any experience with A2813. Do you know about the reliability of this movement? is it a good movement? thanks

Hi, I just bought the Tag Grand Carrera A7750 with black dial and black leather strap and I'm extremly happy!. Now I'm seriously thinking to get the white dial version of the watch. I saw the gen and the dial has a white ivory color. I don't want to pull the trigger until to be sure of the color of the dial in the rep. I couldn't find pictures of the rep in the forum. Does someone have the white dial version? could you post some pics please? Thanks Alejandro

thanks to al for your compliments, but I only took the pictures. The watch is incredible. My girlfriend said the Grand Carrera is the most gorgeous watch of my collection (Beaume et Mercier Riviera XL Ti, Omega SMP chrono (blue old edition and black new edition), Tag Carrera Tachy chrono in rubber, Porsche Flat 6 grey and Tag Aquaracer chrono black). I received a lot of compliments for the watch all this week: people at work (boss included), my friends and 2 salesman today when I were shopping. Now I'm seriously thinking to buy the white version with brown leather strap. I saw it today and it's a beauty. I have some doubts about the color of the dial: the gen has a ivory white color. Again I couldn't find pics in the forum of the wite dial version. Does someone have the Grand Carrera with white dial? could you post some pics please?? Alejandro
