WOW!! you're a lucky guy!! I will wait for macro shots of the Silver themes. If they are ok, I will put immediatly an order for one. My suggestion for your watches: send them to Francisco and ask him to send the crystals to Uwe for double AR and you can also buy from him the AR'ed cyclops. The difference between an AP without AR and one one with AR is day and night. Uwe AR is just perfect because it still gives you a little bit light reflection.

Could you post a macro shot of the subdial@12 please? Do you know when the watch was bought (by the first owner) and from which dealer? I've been trying to buy a proper version of this watch since 1 year and a half without success. Your watch seems to be perfect (lthe hex screws is an easy fix). thanks

Congrats!! Black lume is very weak. My volcano has an orange lume and it also is weak. If I would know it, I would never paid for the lume job. your silver themes seems to don't have the issue with red marks overprinting silver ring on subdial@12. Could take a better macro picture of the dial please? thanks

Exactly!! you have made an excellent point. Crystal not treated with AR gives a significant light reflection. To have a more "gen look" I suggest you to go with Uwe's double AR (in EU zone) because his AR has a little light reflection just like the gen. Chief's AR will not give you any reflection (is like the watch doesn't have a crystal installed). In this picture you can see the differences:

Just follow 1976 words and enjoy your rep. However I suggest you to perform some mods before to wear them (service + gear modification + double AR). Here are my modded APs: Mods on the Volcano: - watch bought from Mary - The Zigmeisters service - The Zigmeisters orange lume - Chiefs double AR - HKtan hornback leather strap - Ebay butterfly deployment Mods on the Grey Themes: - watch bought from Andrew - Franciscos service - Franciscos gear mod - Uwe double AR - HKtan hornback leather strap - Ebay butterfly deployment I'm waiting Uwes AR cyclops to complete all the mods on my reps.

Obvious to spot the fakes?! Are you thinking that all the world knows the AP brand? Maybe 0.0000000000000001% of humans are able to see the differences between a sec@12 rep from a gen. If the chronopushers and crown "issues" bother you, then stay way from AP reps and just save $16.000 to buy a gen.

I don't understand why you are so worried about the open caseback. I use my watches showing the dial, not the back. In fact I will be worried about this issue if I try to convince someone else, an AP expert of course (0.00000000001% of humans), than my watch is a gen, but it is not the case. I prefer to have the watch (the one with white dial of course) repped with the beloved mod A7750 sec@12 movement, than nothing.

Thanks again for the nice comments!! The cyclops doesn't have any AR, but Fine_dd, from RWI, will sell the cyclops with AR for 29 euros in 1 or 2 months. It should not be so complicated to change the cyclop, just remove the dial and its done. I'm waiting my new APROO Grey themes with mods (Francisco service + Fine_dd double AR). The package is waiting on canadian customs.
