  1. I have bought from Andrew, he was top quality in all (far too much from me!) communication emails, I received QC pics two days after sending monies to him and I was 100% happy with the quality of the watch I was looking at. It was posted off HK Airmail (as to the UK it does seem to fair better than normal EMS for customs seizures) and it left China on the 18th and was on my wrist on the 28th. I found him superb, I hope you do too.
  2. Just my daughters Guiea Pig who seems to think she is a Jack Russell terrier! Lucy!!
  3. The issues in your original post? It's not a problem, you should have to worry about on a board like this, lets just finish off your post with that thought, it's a good community and I find we look after each other rather well despite being new myself advice given here has been beyond a mere value. It is actually much more fun buying a rep here than going into a store as it is "almost" bespoke built for you, you get so much more choice and control than buying a "brand X" with a "type Y" movement and a "Z" bracelet. When you see one post a link everyone will honestly critique it and advise.
  4. Hi, I bought an Omega Planet Ocean CrPo 42mm on s/s from Andrew at Trusty time, I promise with a drawer full of replicas bought on the spec market as well as some class genuine pieces (Ebel to name one) this watch is as close to a 1:1 as you can reasonably expect, any better than that and it would just be an Omega not a rep!!
  5. Wow! All I can advise having bought several rep's off craigslist and my first from Andrew at Trustytime, is that the watch on my wrist right now from Andrew is utterly incredible. Quality is quite easily on a par if not better than a gen watch of a similar $300 value the watch pics you see is the watch you get. Ask yourself do I trust my own ability to buy a good example of my chosen watch from a person who has no agenda other than to serve us to the highest possible level, as if he or she does not, we vote with our feet and they are out!
  6. Welcome! All the way from Ayrshire from a fellow collector similarly on the edge of watch induced bankruptcy,,,,
  7. I adore Monsieur De Givenchy my signature "smell" Gucci Envy Givenchy Pi
  8. Have you spoken to Andrew to ask him? He is very highly regarded on here as a Trusted Dealer of good standing. Did you receive anything that was unusual such as a toy? in your delivery as it has been known to hide watches in unusual places.
  9. Got to agree with the others here it can take several weeks after landing in the UK to get through customs and out for delivery, best way is to relax and treat it like a surprise when it does show up, as there really is no way to know what is being dealt with at easter time!
  10. As said BP and Noob are the factories. I spent days weighing up between them as they are so close, what one has the other lacks (but to say that I am really splitting hairs! as they are both truly incredible in detail. Andrew at TT has sorted me on a CrPO 42mm as I felt the more matt bezel and the visible AR were my choice on this this one, next time I may well go with Noob, so for me for this time Andrew and BP are the way forward.
  11. Cool thanks. It's reassuring, I am fine tearing down and rebuilding BMW engines small block Chrevy's and the like so this shouldn't pose a problem, LMAO
  12. There is a disclaimer on his website to beware of scammers using a similar website name! I have had no issues at all with communications from him and via his direct email.
  13. Hi Sam, OK if you explore other sections of the forum you will see one called Trusted Dealers (TD's) like you until a few weeks ago I never knew of a place like this either but the learning curve I have gone on has been incredible fuelled by some really friendly knowlgeable members. What type of watch are you looking for? we can point you in the right direction,,,, I have just bought a stunning Omega from Trusty Time and can vouch for Andrew there on pre-delivery 100% and shortly once I get my new piece will give him a full recommendation.
  14. Is there a particular reason you don't want to trust the TD's that are so carefully screened and thought of here?
  15. Thing is if the screws on the bracelet are super tight as indicated, I would not want to trash them when I can get someone with quality tools to do it with lesser risk of damage?
  16. If it is tight, I will whip it along to a local watchsmith, infact with the way I think about this watch, I may do that anyway!!
  17. I can report I have the QC pics, Andrew in his email does say they are not for sharing and I won't go against his wishes but all I can say is
  18. Mmmm,,,, seems OK I have a set up and tools loup and pushers. Thanks that makes me feel better
  19. Interesting, it does come across that way, but, for now, I went BP (I have never spent SO much on a replica ever!!) and am sitting waiting for it to arrive. To any BP wearer, how do you adjust the strap on BP I know Noob's are a huge pain? I need to remove 4 links, as I have tiny wrists LMAO
  20. WOW That is stunning! your very good health to wear it. When did you order it out of curiosity? to know how long my own may take
  21. Did you go for BP or Noob? It looks a bit like the BP "O" in Omega,,,
  22. Thats the one! I wanted to go for the orange numerals but something inside made me go chrome! It won't be a strict daily beater as I have 7 that I switch about (three are all good rep's) but it will take pride of place as one of the MOST recognizable watches out there I think
  23. Hi folks, Been lurking for a while but wanted to share my latest exploit's. I have been collecting replicas since the bad old days of street stalls, and just discovered the forums and trusted Dealer sites in the past few weeks. I have quite a few "good" watches but wanted to really go the extra mile and so after a long hunt and a brand switch Tag to Omega, I settled with Andrew at Trusty Time and the CrPO 42mm I am waiting for QC pics and have read all the posts good and bad and decided that I was going to go BP rather than Noob as I just "like" the matt bezel that bit more. So, I will update you as I progress and let you know how I find my experience with Andrew, as this will be far from my last purchase
  24. Well Hi there folks, I have only just joined (and only just found forums that support and encourage replica watches, for some daft reason I never thought that my love of rep's would have been shared so widely, and had forums dedicated just to them! I own about 10 or so that vary from the obvious fake, to one or two that pass muster with high quality jewellers! I am keen to expand my collection pass on a few of the current crop and participate where I can. Thanks all Derek
