  1. I know of one guy on the dark side that has a "modded" TWA pam that was supposed to have a swiss movt, no recessed pin, superlume, etc. and he posted pics of it on the board, it seriously looked like any other $200 un modded panerai, I was surprised. Maybe he got a mixmatch in the shipping but I wasn't impressed at all for something that cost the same as the davidsen models.
  2. When can we get these and how much???
  3. Assembling an Inge with white dial, case back says... IWC Ingenieur-By IWC Exclusively for Mercedes-AMG I need an hour hand for this, please Pm me if you have one or know where I can get one. Movement 2836 or 2824 Hour hand size is 1.5mm Thanks
  4. Nope, thats how they are coming to me from another member on the dark side, he had a post in the trade section over there. He had taken to Inge movt out to use in the PO, was going to swap the decorated rotor from the IWC and I think he realized then he couldn't reassemble them. I have no interest in the IWC honestly, will just put it up for sale once the watches are put back together probably.
  5. I have a disassembled 4th gen 42.5 ultimate PO from river, swiss ETA, that the regulator arm popped off of. I also have a swiss ETA IWC Inge with stellar movt. that could be used in the PO if the regulator arm isn't an easy repair. I need someone, preferably in the CONUS, that would be willing to assemble to PO for a reasonable price or would take watch trades for something like a rollie 5517 sub or the IWC, something like that. Please PM me if interested.
  6. I have a big gouge in my "perfect/ultimate" sub LV which was a pretty nice insert to begin with and had a great pearl with nice lume. Has anyone had any luck getting OEM rolex LV inserts with pearls or can someone recommend a source for a great replacement for mine. Thanks
  7. I bought this Ferrari Panerai rep from TTK, arrived with rotor off, used as a hand winder rather than wait 3 months to get it back from TTK repaired, now the hands move freely like they are loose. Throw a cheap asian auto in it and you got a cool looking watch. My watch is the one in TTK's pics in this link. PM me if you want it for a project or whatever, cheap. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...&hl=ferrari
  8. I'd like to try and get one of the newer yellow dials they sell on the gens, cool looking.
  9. The guys been really nice and quick to respond to e-mails, I would not think about being scammed but he sent me two packages 3+ days apart, second with some links, and I haven't gotten either. Probably just bad luck with shipping. Who nkows, maybe it'll show up but after 3-4 weeks i'm guessing its gone now.
  10. Nope, not Frank, must be a different guy. He just e-mailed me that he recieved the watch I sent him. Mine went out a week after he shipped mine, I'm asking for a scan for the receipt now. If I haven't gotten it in 3+ weeks then I'm guessing I'm not going to get it. If it was confiscated by customs or whatever don't they send a notification to the sender or reciever about it?
  11. How will I know if a watch I shipped between the US and Canada was confiscated? I had a trade deal worked out with a guy in Canada and he shipped me his watch about 3 weeks ago, I never got it. In the meantime I shipped him mine about 2+ weeks ago and he claims he hasn't received it either. Do you think I got ripped off by this guy or confiscated at customs? I sent his by USPS as a gift wrapped in Mickey Mouse bubble wrap package from the post office, his was sent regular mail as well. PS he also sent out a package a couple days later with extra links he forgot, I never got it either, leads me to believe I may have been ripped off here. Worried.
  12. I tried FedEx ground but I have to declare value and he has to use a broker, etc. Should I just send by EMS through the USPS? FedEx priority international is like $25+ to avoid duties and a broker.
  13. I feel your pain, I actually gave up on getting one. I had ordered one from Andrew and after a week he finally admitted he couldn't get them. I also tried ALL of our vendors with no luck. I even started e-mailing members that had one but nobody would sell it. If a supplier would make a run of them again they would surely sell like hotcakes as there are many of us looking for them once the supply dried up.
  14. It can't be fixed since the head of the rotor retaining screw sheared off, unless of course someone has the smallest tap/die set ever I wound it a couple turns last night and it was still running right on this morning so it works and holds a charge but it has to be wound, the missing rotor renders it a functional, yet, non-automatic watch.
  15. I got this Ferrari chrono from TTK and the rotor was broken off, he has offered to fix if I ship it back but thats probably a 3-4 week deal to the other side of the planet and back. I can wind the watch and it keeps time but once the rotor is replaced its an auto again. The screw head broke off that holds the rotor on. Here is a picture of the watch, probably the first rep of the ferrari chrono and a good loking watch but probably not real accurate. -Should I go through with the repair and wait a month+ to get it back and pay shipping? -Should I just wind it and wear it everyday? -Or should I just sell it cheap to someone that wants to mess with it, like $85 or something like that?
  16. I got a nice new Seiko Chronograph, like 41mm, as part of a trade deal. Where is a good place to put it up for sale/trade?
  17. I sent him an e-mail as well but he has replied to my PM's, when I was buying the watch from him of course. I don't think anything can be done but to replace the movt., its a cheap crappy little asian movt. anyway so no big loss.
  18. I just got the Ferrari Panerai chrono from TTK yesterday and it looks good but the rotor was rattling around in the case. I took it to a watch guy and he opened it while I watched, the rotor was loose but when we turned it upside down only the head of the screw holding the rotor fell out. The screw head sheared off so he couldn't even replace the screw, threaded portion still screwed it. I sent a PM to TTK, waiting to hear back but I don't think anything can be done short of replacing the movt. Any recommendations?
  19. Thanks for the shipping update Neil, I had already e-mailed you and PM'd you through this board a couple days ago. Thanks
  20. Hey Neil, thanks for posting on here, I was getting worried when you didn't reply to my PM or e-mail. I bought the yellow face Ferrari/PAM back on the 20th, I believe it was the only one you had. Thanks in advance for any updates, if you don't want to reply to PM or e-mail just let me know on this thread. I had all my pertinent information in the pm/email I sent you. Thanks!
  21. I paypal'd TTK for a watch on 6/20, as soon as I paypal'd him and it was sold he has not replied to any PM or e-mail I have sent him over the last couple days to confirm its shipped. From what I have found this may be SOP for TTK but I think if I had known this I might not have bought from him to begin with. How long should I wait without reply before worrying? I get other models from other dealers on the other side of the planet in about a week, is it that he just sits on the money for a while before getting around to shipping it?
  22. Thinking about purchasing from him but he only has like 12 post and is on the other side of the planet from me. Any members able to back this guy up at all?
  23. Thanks guys, as usual a wealth of information. The watch is a match to the one in the photos linked above, its a tank, heavy too. I can try to crack the back off tonight to see what the movt. is. I guess its worth a little more than I thought it was.
