I’ve been out of it for a while, bought a seawolf II about two months ago but just wasn’t feeling it. Even tried putting a Micah Mauser 24mm strap on it but no dice. Think I want to go back to Panerai. Not sure what’s a great one right now with what’s happened with the factory’s the last couple years. Anything you’d recommend looking at that’s in the 44’mm size? Modded 113 with nice e series movt. Since the pics were taken I've installed an e series caseback and last night I overhauled the cg, flat topped the pic, polished everything but the lever, and did the hot glue fix for a nice firm lever. My first and last white faced luminor I'm afraid though, going to try something else but thought you guys might enjoy the pics, the lume dots done by Sead are perfect!

Any of the dealers still have any of these for those of us embarking on e series projects or an old 001b project?

I got a nice 40mm Tissot prc-200 chrono on black leather strap with deployment, that would be a nice dress watch.

I have one of the new ultimate 092 that are coming with lousy crown guards, mine has had a nicer cg from a modded 111 retrofitted onto it but one of the cg screws is not the right size for this new set up. Not wanting to screw the watch up I figured I'd go ahead and see about selling it to someone that wants to get the right screw to have it perfect and I'll get something else. I know these are about $340 new so I was wondering what would be a fair price for the watch like it is. Any advice appreciated and the watch is excellent other than needing a longer screw for the cg.

I am thinking about "releasing" my flavor flav built beauty to get a tweeked sub, I love the 243 and 024, appears that the only weakpoint is the datefont, anyone fixed that?

I actually have this watch done by Flav, beautifully decorated and accurate swan neck regulated movt. and all panerai badging removed. It has the more accurate cali dial and hands all with a decent lume, and a very correct looking domed plexi crystal. The cali dial I have always loved but couldn't stand the rad case, this is a perfect blend. Looks very period in detail with the domed plexi crystal and mini-fiddy case/crown/cg. Of all the watches I've had this is the one that gets all the comments, its beautiful.

BEAUTIFUL, when you get tired of that you PM me to buy it! I really need to do one of these myself, I'm just afraid to open one up and wrench on it.

Thanks guys, I'll try to take some pics, I guess this might cover the cost of some mods for the 063 project It alternates between polished and brushed, like the bracelet in wheaton's sig. How would I confirm if its gen? It certainly feels nice and comfortable. Wheaton and kruzer were the first of many to PM me for this though.

I have a 2 button clasp bracelet that tapers from 24m to 22mm at the clasp, are these still impossible to find? Is it worth more than the normal $80 or so that a 24/24 bracelet would go for?

OK, I bought one of Andrew's 063's from another member and will use this as the base to build a nice gmt rep. Has anyone here used Andrew's with the 2836-2 as a starter for a mod builder? Anyone interested in selling me their services to do a crown upgrade, possibly datewheel and cyclops upgrade if needed?
