  5. Hunting private people selling 1 or 2 watches happened some years ago in Germany... it might be fruitless, but good PR..their margins can allow such enterprises.... but you are right that they should hawk down "gen (rep)" sellers., but prove that you did this on purposes...

  14. Hi there! I went yesterday to my local AD to check out the Edox Grand Ocean Cronographe Automatique. Nice watch! Real great feel and nice to wear. The movement is an in-house automatic rewind calibre Edox no. 012 with a reserve of 42 hours which is a modified ETA7701 (or something)
  15. Hi there, I normally am a brown leather (e.g. crocodile), white stitch strap (see pic 4) kind of guy
  16. Hi, this is difficult! You have to either pull the pins out at the side with a small tweezer or push them in. Pushing them into the old strap is easier then pulling them out,. This gets the strap off and then you can try getting the pins out, which s easier then the other way around! This is how did it! Of course you risk not getting them out, but will you want to use/sell the old strap? TFDM
  17. Do you also do a white stich open/cloased box stich?
  18. Hi there, until now I have always paid with PP buying (to) many watches. But the dealer I am now dealing with does not offer PP, but credit card. I know, fraud is international, but for prejudice reasons China seams different to me
  19. I had not thought about that one....lets say "from dealers only"... after all that is where the "food chain" starts!
  20. Hi there! I just started a poll/statistic on technical issues from delivered watches. But what about the other problems of our hobby e.g. wrong watch delivered or watch differs from pic on the net - that kind of stuff. Thanks for sharing and putting some statistics into drop-shipping/quality checking/delivery issues Regards! TFDM
  21. I have had it for 4 weeks! And now it started to slow down! I know you can adjust this, but that wouldbe my first time watch work and on a 400 USD watch I rather send it back!
