I wouldn't do it. Don't think I'd like the view looking out through the bars.

Why just one pic? Please post more.

I think this time will go down as one of the biggest transfers of wealth in U.S. history.

Heard on the news that AAA said July 4th traffic was down only 1% from last year. Consumption has changed very little:

Comparing the price of vehicle fuel in different countries is worthless without discussing taxes.
The price of fuel is almost the same (2005 data, but the relative prices will be very similar today) the world over. The U.S. taxes fuel at a rate lower than any other country except maybe Mexico.

I second, or third, the opinion that the bracelet on this watch is one of the best for Rolex reps. You will see common reps problems

Very nice write-up.
I received this watch with 2 straps. The yellow one had the lousy clasp but the black strap had a good one. It does not pop open.
Anyone swam with this watch yet? Should be okay as per your tests.

I agree. I dislike the blue replica tint.

I voted earlier but it made me vote for an IHS as well.
Mine's running great. +12 seconds in the last week.
At the beginning of June Joshua told me he had sold 150 of the CHS watches. We can assume that number is, what, 250? 300? by now?
It will be difficult to determine with any degree of accuracy how reliable the movements are. Nevertheless, based on these informal and preliminary poll results, I feel fortunate to have one that is running great (so far). It really is a stunning replica.

Watch has been running w/o a hitch for four weeks. Is about 12 seconds fast in the past week.
I also received a replacement bracelet from Joshua Monday. A screw was stripped on the original bracelet. It was the easiest bracelet swap I've ever done.
My current favorite!

Both versions have adjustable GMT hands. It's adjusted in the first click position. Turn the crown one way to adjust the date and the other to adjust the GMT hand.

Welcome from Central California. Your $500 will go much further here.

So I recently bought an Exp2 from Andrew, it's the Swiss ETA version with the incorrect hand stack. Occasionally (once every few days) - the GMT hand would get stuck, and the GMT time would no longer sync with the hour hand. If I reset it, it will run fine again.
Anyone encounter this? Is this a problem with the movement design? Thanks!
First, I would e-mail Andrew about the problem so you're "on record" with him.
GMT movements can be odd this way. Must be the modifications to the movement so it will operate the GMT hand. Usually they behave after a period of time. One of mine had odd quirks like this for 4 or 5 months. Then I picked it up again and it worked fine.
Not sure if this has been of any comfort to you. Before you ship it back to China, I would work with it. Try moving the hands through several days of revolutions, then backwards. Slowly, of course.Quite often you can get it working fine this way.
Good luck.

Synthetic sapphire is 'grown' in cylinders up to several inches in diameter, it is essentially aluminium oxide and is effectively the same as natural ruby or sapphire in terms of its physical properties.
Saphire is very very hard, only diamond is harder so when used as a watch crystal you will not scratch it in normal use. This hardness is the reason that ruby 'jewels' are used in the bearings of watch movements. The downside is that the crystal is also very brittle and can shatter if hit hard.
The next material used in watch crystals is mineral crystal, often known by its common name of 'glass', its less prone to shattering but is much softer and easily scratched. These scratches are virtually impossible to remove so it is a poorer alternative to sapphir and is found on cheaper watches.
Older watches also used plexyglass crystals, these are basically 'plastic', they will not shatter but are scratched very easily, however, those scratches can also be removed. Vintage Rolex used this but its not seen much anymore because of the low cost of modern synthetic sapphire.

I played with all the hands of mine quite a bit after receiving it from Josh. I had a couple of issues that were resolved with rotating the hands through severals days worth of revolutions. It sat on my good winder for 5 days and kept time at -4 seconds per day.
I don't "play" with the hands anymore, but I'll use them next time I travel.

Today the GMT-II C:
It's been running about +4 sec/day lately and runs great on my good winder.

No gold for Freddie?
It's not for everyone. I'll admit I've cooled down on gold lately.

Depends on who you hang around. If they're watch fans, they might be able to spot a Navi rep at first glance.
My personal opinion is, in the town of 225,000+ that I live in, 99.5% couldn't tell a gen Navi from a rep.
