The bracelet looks thin, and the profile of the case around the crown and pushers looks wrong. The crown itself looks insubstantial. It could be a low quality rep, or it could be the angle and shadows playing tricks.

I still believe an A21J version with frozen stopwatch w/ 7750 case would be a great seller.

I'd take a beatertona, too. I don't care about sec @ 9, probably will never pay for 7750 powered sec @ 6. The beatertona is simply the best solution.

With A21J, they should be able to run sec @ 6, right? The UN MMC being a good example of how it could be done, sans power reserve function of course.

I have a custom interface linking my 220v power panel through 12 gauge wiring to the ISP. When my router detects an intruder it simply closes the switch and connects the 220v supply to the LAN card of the intruder for 0.5 seconds. Poof, problem solved.

Wanted to post a few shots of my latest. IWC Spitfire Laureus Edition. The raised chrome hour markers against the textured blue dial looks amazing. Not as nice as the gen, but of course. The blue AR playing with the blue dial, playing with the light on it, is really just very captivating. I purchased this with the intent of putting it on a bracelet, as such, I'm on the hunt if anyone has one! Thanks for looking/comments.

3-4 years ago I built this white sub

The dial was from a replicafactory rep- one of my first purchases before I found these forums.

The watch has since been dismantled- the YM bezel is on a white dialed Invicta sub- a $100 beater.

I've thought about getting the white sub dial relumed but haven't got around to it.

When I get home Sunday evening, I'll see if I can't shoot a pic of the Invicta.

I didn't know route canals were that bad. I just had my first cavity at age 31. I'm not even remotely joking when I say this- I am phobic about needles. I manned up (by manning up I mean I took a 750mg Vicodin about 30 minutes before show time) and walked in the office trying to stay in my zone- "Your Daniel Craig. 007. Your Daniel Craig. 007". The whole thing beginning to end was a 1 on a scale of 1-10, little or no discomfort.

All I can say is I wish you the same experience, and do what you gotta do to get through it. Find your inner Daniel Craig. Talk to the doctor before hand and have him perscribe some valium (I dont know your tolerance to meds but i'd probably say 10mg at least for that sortve thing. I am by no means a doctor [my best friend is a dentist however], I am merely suggesting.) Or you could also ask for the nitrous.

I was checking it out earlier, and it looks pretty good. They've got the insert lined up properly w/ the bezel in the pictures. The hour hand looks like it could be a little short, but it could be the pictures. Can't quite make out if they have pins or screws in the bracelet.

I was hammered when I posted this thread last night. I woke up this morning wondering how bad it would be received.

Since we're all over the globe, any suggestion for day/time to start? Best to post a thread, or open the shoutbox in its own window?

Figure just let it run for 24hrs, general idea to just show up but not empty handed! Grab a cocktail or seven, show off some watch swag, make fun of KB, and see where it go's!

How about an online -E- get together next weekend? Say Sept 4 or 5th? Just have to pick a time that works.

I'm suggesting that ANYONE and EVERYONE that is a member here, show up for a little get together in a general discussion thread. We could have drinks, watches, banter, etc. Get to know each other a bit?

I promise to drink more than I should, and take and post pics of watches and God knows what else during the course of the thread. I encourage everyone else to do the same. Share some quick pics, have a drink, post something, etc. just make some fun posts.

There's no reason we can't make the best of our distances. An E-shindig is the closest thing to a plausible international RWG G2G that I can foresee in the near future. Date and time are up for discussion.

I hope to see some interest after I put myself out there and press the "Post New Topic" button, here we go!
