I was just thinking how nice the dial was. Didn't know it was a yuki. How is the gilt on it? Assume it's printed, by I'd imagine if there's enough clear coat you probably couldn't tell.

You definitely want to send to the country they're in....

But I was talking about the conversion rate, it will as whether you want to send a USD or whatever. I just always use USD

Just use the online, all you need is the First Last name.

Always send in USD. Don't do conversions.

Use debit card option. It transfers immediately, there Is a fee for it, but whatever.


I use WU exclusively with TDs, never had an issues, 50+ transactions.

Worst case scenario, WU calls YOU just to confirm that you are indeed authorizing the transaction. But they'll only call once for new accounts(if they call at all) and that's it.


All TD needs is the MTCN number and their ID to pick up the money.

Why would it matter where I provide money from?

So when you've sent money to a TD, you've had them go to an office to gather funds?

I did. Response back was name and this mysterious ID number that isn't asked for by WU. :/

I'm trying to send money to MQ, but never done WU before. I have name and an ID number that's been provided. However, WU only has an option of name only for pickup at office or name and bank info for direct to account. 

Admittedly the language barrier has been a bit difficult. 

Anyone send money before that can let me know how I'm supposed to do it?

My 'original' L457xxx 16233 3135 DJ has open 6 and 9 so many of the older models probably had them. 

'original' = never cleaned/oiled since new 1989/1990, still runs Ok.  Not worn since January 2008.

I didn't have any issues finding gold or cream colored ones. It was the "sport" white that was hard to find. You're right about the timeline. From what I've seen they did it for a year or two. They're out there, just tough to find.

So in the hunt for a good bezel, I've been in contact with bit MQ and Phong. I like MQs insert much better and it would be a better fit with an early, probably '63 PCG. Anyone have opinions of one over the other?

There seem to be some mystery bezels sets that are quite reasonable on eBay; however, who's to tell they'll fit well over a gen crystal before one cracks it. 

Any other providers I may be overlooking if bezels and inserts?

Yeah. The middle one in the first photo is a rep. My hunch was the not quite right dots on it. 

Let me know how many you get and if you're willing to part with any. I'll gift funds over.
