Top adjusts the rate (speed).
Bottom ("two gold pins") adjusts the beat.
I seriously believe this is the other way around!! The hairspring is attached to the lever with the two gold pins so this is the lever for regulating the speed.....

Kinda nice for ya lady I think.....
-
yes, it's in stores ... But look hard, many jewelers have old stocks and they will try to sell you the old 42mm/1500m first.
-
Nothing beats a genuine... If you want a perfect watch go for the real deal! I never have any problems with my 2000 Euro Breitling =)
-
Try some paint thinner??!!
.... It will probably mess up the insert too?!
-
Nice but it's the old 42mm/1500M model....
-
That's really strange...
What you call after sales
-
I don't think grinding the insert will help... The insert can still be damaged. It's just a matter of hitting something with it in the right (or wrong) angle!
@Ubiquitous: Do you think genuine inserts will scratch less easilly?
-
I'm at a point that I hate all the watches with a bezel insert!
They scratch so easily that it's pissing me off!! Wear them once when going out to a bar and you'll know what I mean......
I have nothing against scratches but once a year or so I give all my watches a good polish. Scratches on SS or titanium can easily be removed but the ugly scratches on the insert can't and that bugs the crap out of me! Especially the scratches on my new black PO... you can't miss them.
Why aren't these inserts covered with a layer of sapphire or such??
Just wanted to share

The 42mm PO however I found too small, especially the dial, but the 45mm version is Just Right, size wise,
I find the 45mm version of the PO too big for such a 'classy' watch. Like Jon said; the PO is more of a dress watch.

Yeh,
Thats gotta work- I have actually cut a piece of scouring pad in to a circle- for roughing up and descaling some other stuff I need to clean to gold plate- and it works too.
Now all I have to do is to find someone with Cape Cod cloth in Oz- they musn't want to export- cos their freight cost is ridiculous.

Maybe a vintage model??... the moonwatch doesn't have sapphire crystal so that could reduce the weight.
-
You really have a lot of time on your hands.... Like the idea though =)
I check the time keeping of my watch HERE.

Problem solved.. thanks for the input guys.
You were right in the mineral glass issue Tutima!
-
NOT TRUE!!
Both synthetic sapphire!! (Asian 21-jewels and 7750).
No replica comes with real crystal sapphire!!!
-
The price difference also goes to the saphire crytal comes with the expensive version. The cheaper version only comes with mineral glass.
NOT TRUE!.... both are synthetic sapphire!!
-
We're talking about the non-chronoraph versions.......
For example Andrews PAM 104
PAM 104 USD 118,- (Asian 21-jewels automatic)
PAM 104 USD 298,- (Asian 7750)
Different angles but almost visually identical (except from some small dial differences)... not worth USD 200,- IMHO

Indeed!!.... 200 bucks is a lot of money. Isn't there anybody who can shed some light on the matter??

For more The Zigmeister info on this topic.
I was right about the levers by the way but the hairspring isn't attachd to the lever with the gold pins..... it passes through it.
