Are the new 7750's going into the Bentley and Bentley GT's just as bad - surely things must be improving with time ?
I was wondering too....

I will ask him to send me a pic of the inside of the box.

You've got to be kiddin'... a Navitimer with a Venus copy (also wrongly called Lemania)??
-
Indeed ... but I think the 2006 box set should include these itmes too!!??
-
-
Euro 1945,- to be exact...
-
41mm seems small to me these days.
Isn't the GT 39 mm??.....

Very nice.. great choise! From what year is it?
-
I'm with ya all the way Kanerich... marketing!
-
You like caps huh?!
-
And what about the 3-6-9 Navitimers?
Nope... that's the modified Asian 7750 (7753 lay-out with the date @ 4).
-
I think my wish list would look exact the same By-Tor...

The only time when I notice the faint AR coating is when I'm under the shower. When the crystal is covered with small drops and you turn the watch the right way into the light you will see a blue edge around the drops.....
Believe me. The AR coating on the 4th gen is almost the same as no AR coating....
-
Depends. There are different aspects that one needs to keep in mind.
- Chrono lay out
- Date
- old/ new Asian 7750
The 12-9-6 lay out with only date (no day) OLD Asian 7750 is an one on one copy from the ETA 7750 (easy swap). The NEW Asian 7750 has some differences with date gears/ wheel and thickness of sec. hand.
For example:
The Asian 7750 in the Breitling Chrono Avenger can easily be swapped with an ETA 7750....

Great thread By-Thor!
Do you confirm that Ar coating is worth the upgrade from 3rd gen?
It would be perfect if logo was just a bit higher.
I think the AR coating is hardly noticeable on the 4th gen....

okay, I admit it...I am confused by your post
I had some problems with Imageshack....
Hope it works now!!

Eta 7750 Vs Asian 7750 Overhaul
in Movement Q&A
Posted · Edited by Rolexman
I'm just curious if an experienced watch maker, who overhauled and serviced dozens of ETA 7750s, can also do an Asian 7750b1 (new Asian 7750)?.......
Are there great differences or problems that could occur while servicing the Asian which he didn't yet encountered while servicing an ETA 7750?
Thanks!
