  1. I'm just curious if an experienced watch maker, who overhauled and serviced dozens of ETA 7750s, can also do an Asian 7750b1 (new Asian 7750)?.......

    Are there great differences or problems that could occur while servicing the Asian which he didn't yet encountered while servicing an ETA 7750?

  2. Depends. There are different aspects that one needs to keep in mind.

    - Chrono lay out

    - Date

    - old/ new Asian 7750

    The 12-9-6 lay out with only date (no day) OLD Asian 7750 is an one on one copy from the ETA 7750 (easy swap). The NEW Asian 7750 has some differences with date gears/ wheel and thickness of sec. hand.

    For example:

    The Asian 7750 in the Breitling Chrono Avenger can easily be swapped with an ETA 7750....
