Come on guys.... ever heard of Ebay?
If you look hard you can find a strap and clasp for +- USD 1340,-~140,-
-
Fine regulation won't help.... you need to adjust the lever. It works pretty much the same as regulating the new Asian 7750. Click here for info.
-
Buy a genuine clasp and strap.... all the other straps and clasps are crap!
-
I think the bracelet on the 4th gen PO is constructed pretty much the same as the genuine... they both feel cheap (like the new hollow Oyster bracelet from Rolex)!
If you think the Link's bracelet's well constructed and heavy?... try the new Bentley GT
-
Old school SMP perfect quality and feel!
-
Sorry to hear that.. better luck next time!! Use PT.....
-
But damn that Bentley GT looks nice
-
So you bought an original bezel insert and dial?..... or did it came that way?
-
I Can Now Spot A Rep Rolex Sub At 15 Feet!
Sure you can ......
hahahahahaha
-
Replacing the day/ date wheel is easy.... but finding the right colour, right size and right font is difficult. You could buy a gen day/ date wheel but I don't know if it will fit.
-
Hey Rolexman...
I got smitten by the creamy look of yours... and got Jay to change mine to one with the cream dial too... hehehe...
Great choice... A&J are great. You will defenately enjoy your 99% perfect GT
Is there any way to replace the Day/Date wheels ?Forget the rep!......as a perfectionist you're better off buying a USD 3400,- genuine.
-
You've got it all
-Nice car
-Beautifull girl

Nice pics, thanks for sharing.
Is it wise to show your license plate?.....
-
How about the Day/Date font and colour - are they close to the Gen ?
The rep is slightly brighter red...
(chrgod @ Jul 31 2006, 10:57 AM)What is the function of the "helium escape valve" on the case at 9 o'clock??
Looks like on some Breitlings you get a crown there to turn the bezel. I could be wrong ...
Nope.. the Chronomatic has the crown on the left side, but it functions as a regular crown. In this case it's a HEV of some sort.
-
Yep dude.. I think what you mentioned is correct, though Rolexman will be in a better position to tell you...
Indeed the dial is a little bit smaller and the inner bezel a little bit wider.... but believe me, nobody will notice, especially with the white dial. The rehaut is 99% the same as the genuine. I compared it today at a jeweler.
Hey Rolexman, first it was your SMP review which influenced me to purchase one, now THIS!! Damn, your reviews are always so friggin good!I 'm trying to make sure you guys buy the best reps out there
I've already placed an order for the black dial version from Jay (Silix)... Just to find out 2 other things, is the sapphire crystal AR-coatedNo AR but I also didn't see any AR on the gen today....
and are the crown pushers and crown screw-in types with o-rings?No idea?... already cleaned it under the running tap and no problems.
One comment I must make about your white dial version, the dial actually looks more cream than white...Cheers dude...
Indeed it's cream... like the gen

Thanks Zig... I don't exactly know what the chrono cam is but it sounds to me like it's time for an overhaul. This should/ could solve the problem I think.
-
Hi Zig,
The new Asian 7750 in my Breitling for Bentley GT runs perfect but when I push the reset button (after pushing the 'start/ stop' off course) the second hand of the chronograph and the minute counter jump to +- 10 o'clock and when I release the 'reset' button they jump to zero (this happens very fast in less than a second). The hands don't slip as they always reset to the correct position pointing perfectly upwards.
So the chronograph feature works perfect and resetting to zero is also no problem. I was just wondering if something is wrong with the movement because of it's strange behaviour.
Maybe it's normal or a flaw in the design??
Thanks
UPDATE: My BCE has the same problem, see last post.

any info on how to use the slide rule on the GT? I have seen the instructions for the Navitimers but the GT sliderule is different.
Indeed!!
nothing to do with it besides setting the timeWhat do you mean by that? I have no problems with it.
-
For 20 bucks you can't go wrong..... looks nice!!!

-
Is the '5' on the rotor crooked?.... 2 bad!
