Retep's insert is way too purplish.. I too ordered one a time ago. The one you have now is more accurate when it comes to the right blue colour......
-
And all those people are there for one year just to make one Rolex watch....cuz that's how long it takes....!
good one....
-
Just push the pearl all the way in with your fingerail... best way to go.
With removing the bezel you could do more damage than good.... I know!
-
I checked all the pictures available on Joshua's and Andrew's sites and it really looks lke the hands are greyish rather than pulished ss/chrome...it doesn't look like it is the way the photo was taken
Joshua: could you please clarify?
thanks
@ King's site they look okay. Could be the lighting though.....
-
I can't see the AR that well..no movement pic.... but it's defenately the best I've seen so far!
I would say 99.98% perfect. It even has the serials on the bracelet and the bracelet has now 2 screws instead of one....
The one with the numbers on the dial is beautufull IMHO
I LIKi... I LIKi ALO

anyways, dont know where you live in Netherlands, we could do a gen vs andrews/joshua's.
Good Idea..
-
A big problem I've seen on all models so far is the date alignment.. just terribel !!
Defenately a deal killer for me.
-
There are circulars on the dial of the gen (look at my last pic one page back) as in Joshua's an Andrew's rep... just hard to photograph indeed.
Can't wait for all the 3 different versions to come out. I think this wil be THE rep of 2006!
-
One thing tho that is different is the bottom side of the case, especially the shape from the case to the lugs (also on the bottom) the joshua/TWG version is a bit square compared to the gen and to the one posted by Angus on TRC.
The gen has the bottonside of the lugs shaped more like Angus's version
I think it's the angle....
There's not much difference in the curve of the lugs.
-
What BN said... the pushers are screw down... Not all pushers are screwed down to the same level on the different pics.
-
Even with the serial# on the lug.... nice!
-
Not being ngative here - but is the distance of the bracelet from the endlinks supposed to be that far?
This is normal due to the construction of the bracelet. When wearing the watch there's no gap! ...
I borrowed a genuine Evolution from my neighbour for some quick and dirty pics:
The end link is significantly different from the rep though
This one is my favorite... for once I was able to make a descent picture What a dial....
PS: I can photograph every little detail on request, so let me know!

How do we tell whether it's the old Asian 21600 or the new asian 28800 movement? I'm confused. I have two spare swiss 7750's hangin out at my place, so if this is really is the old asian with the standard hand sizes, it's coming out!
Believe me it's the old version... try the search function.... plenty of posts about how to spot the diference.
-
Nice! If anyone knows where I can purchase authentic Breitling hands and chrono sweep hands, I'd appreciate it. I hate having to modify the hands for a swiss movement swap!!!
Not nessecary with the old Asian 7750... all dimensions are the same
-
Very cool. But look what Angus posted at TRC:

Thanks BT.... That's the version I want. Absolutely stunning!!
Too bad of the red 'Automatic' on the dial (that's a straight giveaway) and the ugly movement holder.....other than that I would say it's an 99% perfect rep.

http://perfect-clones.com/bl10078-chronoma...nos-p-2143.html
Also available in white and blue but those picture don't work yet.
Too bad it has the old Asian 7550.... no worries... easy replaceable it with an ETA 7750
Too bad no AR.............no worries.... I have an optician in the family
Some other observations:
No screw down pushers...
No circular pattern in the dial...
Looks like the date is out of line but that could be due to date changing...
Pearl looks nice
Nice case back right ref # (13356)
Signed rotor
I think I'm gonna jump on this one.... Don't know yet if it will be black or blue?

Several picks of the watch have already been posted. Here is the link to official Omega were you'll see some picks. The redl lettering really gives the watch a more modern and luxurious feel to the traditional Blue Seamaster (IMO) .
websiteOmega official website
I don't know if you noticed but this is the 'Photo Gallery'..... as in a section to post photos!??
-
One looks like a Venus and the other one like a Valjoux 7755 movement.... but I'm not really an expert.
-
-
Too bad it has the wrong clap (it's a Seamaster's clasp eventhough it says Speedmaster).
-
Push stem release button... remove crown and stem..... remove case screws an clams and voila....let gravity do her work
-
3 new Asian 7750s (28800): GT, Link, SMP .......all work excelent!!
-
With my SMP it was touching the rotor... so auto winding didn't work. I had to remove that useless piece of crap!
-
All those different kinds of Pams and endless variations....
I just don't understand why members love these watches.....
Why not make some few nice new Breitling models (Airwolf or Skyracer)?
All the stress is gone
