  1. Sorry guys!

I examined some different pics of different dealers but all SF have the same problem. Horrible hour markers with the lume sticking out and having the structure of whip cream. And don't forget that butt ugly pearl!

I know these ain't huge deal breakers but when looking at the price and knowing you can buy the real deal for some little extra $$.... well... it let you think twice.

  2. I was referring to the gap, but my date is also slightly misaligned. You can fix the gap in the bracelet not by putting in new/ thicker spring bars, I tried.

It's very easy just use some scotch tape. Tape a couple of pieces together, so it's a little bit thicker and cut out the size of the endlink. Then stick it on the endlink (where it contacts the case). Experiment a little to find the best position to stick the tape...more up or more down.

    It worked for me!

    Greetzzz

  3. Nope... all works fine. Try to loosen the case back a bit.

A problem with mine BCE is that it is hard to screw the crown back on (after time setting). I can only screw it thight 1/4 of a turn... like a jar (if you know what I mean)

    Anyone else experiencing this?

  4. I really really really really DO hope the grey dial looks like this:

    But I doubt it.....

    Here's the link to King's website: http://www.kingshowbox.com/0.htm

The grey seems way off!! I compared both dials on King's website and am almost certain that the grey dial is the exact same dial as the graphite version.

    Damn am I dissapointed!

What can we do? .... should we contact Angus?

  5. :g: Is the grey dial really GREY ? Looks more black to me but may be a picture effect !?

I just like the dicrete and elegant contrast between the grey dial and the black subdials, so it is important for me

    Any opinion ?

Angus, could you comment this ? thanks

    Xel

I too was wondering the same thing.... in the prototype pictures there was a clear difference between the grey and black. Now the grey appears to be black indeed.

It almost looks like the graphite dial with a white ' Automatic' writing....

  6. I used some bluetac on my Navitimer. I removed the hand, took a very small ball of bluetac, pressed it in the shaft of the hand and pressed the hand back on the pinion, removed the excessive bluetac which came out on top and voila!!!.. no more slipping hand. The bluetac provides enough friction not to let the hand slip..... and the best of all... it's no glue so you still can get the hand off if necessary (eg. servicing).

I forgot to mention.. I used a white bluetac called 'Prit buddy'.
