I always wonder how they manage not to scratch those hands with that iron tweezer...

Best Panerai review EVER!!!!!!
Thanks A.

Mine just came in. The AR looks great on the V3 3717. It's after dark now but I will post some pics tomorrow!

Guys the case back looks perfect and just like picture 1. It WAS the lighting.... thank god
It's after dark so I will post some pics tomorrow. Watch is perfect, thanks Andrew!

Can you give more details on how you polished this up? I've got the same strap but with black stitching and love what you've done with the deployant.
Just move up from 600 to 800 grid sand paper and Dremel the sh#t out of it with rouge. Finish with Cape Cod.

Curious too.

I just don't answer stupid PMs ....

Still waiting....

'Classified' gone for me too...

Still not t
It looks like puretime has corrected the stainless caseback on a RG watch problem.

Still not the right case back. The genuine does not have any engravements except for the serial#.

I think this model didn't even exist 2 years back.
-
Yes, polished it. I also reworked all the sharp edges and carefully rebrushed all the different parts. Oiled the hinges and release mechanism and ..... Aded a TWB strap
-
Great strap but I'd rather see it used on a Pam chrono or auto model. For me, PAM111 as a historic could benefit from a little 'simpler' and less intrusive looking strap if you get my grip.
The sanding work you did on the buckle is truly phenomenal. Enjoy!
I know exactly what you mean. I'm still not sure whether to put it on the incoming 111 or my 312. Maybe it suits my 312 better....
I need that exact setup for my 196....How much
The question is how much for your 196
-
Is it gen?
Only a fully reworked replica

You know I can take care of that. Just swap the dial and hands.
I've sent some people to you needing servicing. Wish you did minor casement ...
Mike
Thanks Mike, good to know you can get all sorts of 'goodies'. Maybe I'll take you up on your offer. I'm a little worried about the case back (look). But we'll see how it actually looks when it arrives

Don't say that J. Say it's the lighting
-
Thanks for the info chief. Unfortunately I rejected the top one due to some dial anomalies. The bottom one is the "new" one Andrew sourced. I was hoping it is just the lighting and they would look the same in real life...
Well, it's on it's way so I will let you guys know how it is when it arrives.

I believe the case back engagements are completely wrong for this model. At least the gens I compared it to a while back....

Both rep, and I believe it are different versions.

Let's see a pic of the watch face. I bet it ain't a 7750.
Exactly what I was thinking... probably a $50 POS mistaken for a 7750
Modded my 111 Noob movement. Almost gen :)

While I was doing a full sevice I decided to do a little modding to it. Although platinum plated I found the appearance of the bridges rather dull (see first pic).
-polished all the bridges
-polished all the beveles including the ones on the winding gears
-polished the winding gear screws
-unscrewed the swan-neck screw (adjusted beat afterwards off course)
Just love it and I do think this is now one of THE most accurate reps around! Can't wait to put this baby back together. Really hard to capture the great lusture and shine on the pictures. In real life this one is almost indistinguishable from the real deal.
