Or perhaps just UVPO
Make up your mind dude!
-
So I guess that puts me in the chair.
hmm well for me the v5 is the one narikaa has . And other dealers have simmilar versions.
so I would call this one the UVPO42 (ultimate version planet ocean 42) because I think it more than matches the upo, having better logo, poss double AR .
That settles it!
UVPO42 it is!
How does that feel? I know I feel great whenever I see the term 'POrikaa'

This thread is as my milk carton... empty and polluting.
Is there a bigger purpose of this thread that I am not aware of?
-
Don't get it
...
This is a dealer pic proving he has the new 177?
-
That's rather an odd question...
-
Additional photo's with a gen .
The gen is always on the left. Or underneath.
The biggest tell is the single AR , and the markers are whiter and brighter on the gen. Appart from this its very close
Great shots and I know even Josh states the rep has single AR but from what I can judge from the pictures is that it definitely has double AR. Maybe not as stong as the gen but I know how single AR looks and that crystal is everything but coated from one side.
1 sided AR on a UPO:

I am also waiting for the QC pictures to come "today" from Josh ?
Can You pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease post thoose QC pictures
+1

Would love to see the movement shots. Did he send you some?
The only thing that bugs the crap out of me on the 177 is the OP print on the movement! Why use a cheap movement with silly stamps. If you service this movement the ultrasonic cleaner will make sure your movement plates will come out nice and clean without any print. Than you're stuck with a $30 generic Asian 6497...
-
Kidnapped by desperate Welsh men !!!
Now who's the sick man?
-
Still find mine sexier
-
Here's a long shot.
Maybe the movement and dial have a little slack which causes the second hand post to touch the dial (inside of the hand cut out hole) which causes the movement to stop. If you put pressure on the crown you are actually moving the movement whereas the dial stays in place. Ergo you push the second hand post against the dial.
I have encountered this issue before.
Keep us posted!

Cool review thanks!
I would sell the gen asap!
When looking at these pics there is aboslutely no reason to buy a gen.
-
Great watch!
Definetely on my wishlist!... too many new reps too little funds ;(
-
Swan neck "dagger" is wrong. Is Hublot rep maker a good maker? I never seen any Hublot rep comes with 85% accurate per Gen. IMO AP ROO sec@12 is the best rep maker right now...
Good eye!
-
It's simple.
The first member that does a full review IMHO as the right to claim a name for it.... no one else.
-
What about the Planet Ocean Bond? As Bond wears the 42mm version in the movies.... so I think.
The POB
-
So you want to coin the name 'POU'... cool
Will be receiving mine in a couple of days and will do a full review asap.
-
Cool. Thanks for bringing it up as I never saw the OP.
Wonder when they will rep this bezel
-
$200-300 is a lot of money to some people in these times mate.
Buy a Seiko and it will be perfect

Amongst gens there are anomalies too.. so what is right and what is wrong for this model? There is no answer to that question. This new version looks GREAT
-
I think it's a great rep! That's what it is.... a replica. Although not a 100% aesthetical accurate it makes a damn fine watch to wear and let's be honoust. Who will ever tell the difference?
I love the double AR, serial#, case back, hands, pearl and clone movement option (after I've serviced it it will run like a champ)
When these threads evolve the following thing always comes to mind..
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change; = possible bracelet gap
courage to change the things I can; = Dial swap
and wisdom to know the difference. = I'm a veteran, believe me I know

Omega logo sitting too low.
Shape is incorrect as well.
1 Nope!
2 Could very well be?...
Oh... well... the reference numbers on the endlinks are upside down....
Indeed lol

There are gen 42mm PO's with the 'professional' engraving too
+1 That's correct. It's been discussed before. There are many GEN po's (especially newer ones) that have the 'professional' engraving
SWEEEET Thanks guys!
Some QC pics posted on the Geek
These are the pictures Josh sent me, what do you guys think?
The new 42mm UVPO has arrived (added gen comparison pics)
